Yes yes yes yes! This is a designer! Design not compromising functionality. Stark white with the warmth of earthen tones. Attention to spacial living, the details do not overpower instead flow cohesively. Every floor was beautiful, no bedroom looked like it was spared.

This home is absolutely beautiful! The one thing I love about this house is the unlimited amount of space including the bathrooms and kitchen and the color white plays a huge roll. I would spend each day sitting in every space including the backyard and just enjoy the day reading a good book or listening to smooth jazz music. Been watching a bunch of these house tours and this is the only one where the designer took elements of how people actually live, what they own and how they’ll experience the space and integrated it into the design, and she does it all with an aesthetic that is just so perfect and at ease, nothing feels forced or out of place. I love the living room and the cedar ceiling. I spent a summer living with a Danish family in 1982 on an exchange program and their home had to wood on the ceiling as well. I thought it was so beautiful. This was a really nice house makeover. Was that a picture of Farrah Fawcett on a skateboard??

I could seriously move in to this as it is. Some people say that hiring an architect or designer to do your home is impersonal but I don’t think that’s true. I probably would spend the same amount of money but in the wrong things and my home wouldn’t be exactly what I wanted and so meticulously thought out.

Did anyone else think of what winter would be like living here? She showed a very small pic in the center of another pic. As lovely as it is, I would need some window coverings. I know she dashed allows for people to personalize it. And so that was what I’m doing.. Other then windows I would need layers of fur bland pillows. And cushions for the fireplace. I’m thinking courting would make it look smaller. But I can’t live in a ice place even if it’s awesome for Spring and Summer. She did a great job and I’ve really enjoyed her making this such a detail video.

Really nicely done. I liked the second floor bathrooms --before I saw the master. Incredible facade and backyard transformations. This could easily be a 30 minute video. The living room ceiling is fantastic. Hope next week's H&H post is not of the new buyers painting out the cedar to brighten it up, then bringing in some crap wood to give it warmth. So tired of that warn out phrase and practice.
