Most motivational speakers demotivate me. But this was actually worth the view..

Just starting out in sales and I love it. I see myself as a spiritual person and one of my beliefs about energy is that the harder you chase anything, the faster it will run from you and I’ve been thinking about how to apply that to sales and this…THIS just confirmed my thoughts and helped me so much. Thank you.

I feel most of these ppl on the comments completely missed the point. Lose the Enthusiasm it does not work in the real world, take an updated approach, qualify prospects, be a doctor, less a salesperson.
@JCarter30002 жыл бұрын
So instead of desperately looking for anyone who wants to listen to you, turn the table and turn a prospecting day into locating QUALIFIED leads and asking them questions to make sure they are right for your objectives/goals. Most businesses aren't tbh, but the ones who you can tell would be perfect will mutually understand perfectly well what value they have to gain by partnering with us. It is totally different from what the silly 1980's sales "gurus" thought. It's an analytical process but also decisions are made mostly emotionally...I always get something useful and new from this guy even if it's just the way he phrases ideas that we've heard a thousand times. It just makes sense.

That quote with strike oil, absolutely correct. You can have 1000 hardworking smart individuals that have the exact same drive and qualifications but having the X factor or striking oil separates a 6 figure to to a 7 figure income. 11 figures, my brain cant fathom yet.

I’m a very socially awkward person, but for some reason my odd energy just makes people comfortable. I’m a saleswoman, and I get a sale by relating myself to you, putting myself in your shoes.

Today's customers/prospects aren't the same as from even as recent as the 2000s... today they have boatloads of information at their fingertips, and some of the sales books from the 80s and 90s really don't cut it. Those books simply can't. I just read the book Sell Before You Buy and it totally resonated with me!! We as sales professionals need to understand what Marc is saying here, it makes sense; and although I wouldn't call it "fired up," this collage of speeches got me thinking of a different way to approach prospects. And I think *that* is what Marc is conveying to us here. It's not so much a lot of hot air pep talk, because we can get that elsewhere.

I believe the "OVERCOMING OBJECTIONS" Part He said exactly the same statement as what Tonny robins script did on some of his tapes :D Kinda weird but I've been listening to tony robbins tape and it feels like his a duplicate! :D

Great piece of advice. At this point of our conversation I am not sure we are the right company for you. Can I ask you some questions? This way I can see if we are the right company? Perfect way to lurer a potential client into the conversation. You always have to keep them engaged in the conversation.

I've been selling Advertising for 9 months now. I'm coming to realize that most of the sale reps that I considered amazing people are actually slime balls.. You put a nice commission in front of their face and integrity is out the window.
@mikeggg19795 ай бұрын
In sales you need to be honest, you gotta do what’s best for the customer not your commission. I live by my refferrals if you’re a scumbag you will never get one.

@danielbenjamin75234 жыл бұрын
If you have to convince yourself that it's worth it instead of proving it, it's probably not worth at all. Delivering great results consistently requires way much more commitment and not just hard work. Embrace the opportunity, peace ✌️
