I'm guessing he just made it. I've wondered if that's another reason why Chloe is a perfectionist - she's embarrassed by the fact that her brother just relies on his good looks and charm to get away with things and to get others to do his homework for him so she strives to be great at everything on her own so that she won't be like him. And she might also figure that 'bad stuff happens to my brother like getting locked up in a closet (Descendants 3) because he treats people badly, if I'm good bad things won't happen to me." I like though that neither of them really understand how tough their mothers life was (Chad didn't say anything but I don't think it really occurred to him that his mum had to work hard for no thanks for years).

honestly i'm kinda glad the movie decided to cut out of nowhere. It probably means for a potential more satisfying story in the long-run. While the first 3 descendants movies are great by themselves, i feel like movies that make use of long-running concepts could definitely use the privilege of setting up sequels. At the same time the movie could've hinted A BIT to the potential wrong going on like a real cliffhanger.

Yeah but I kinda wish it made a bit more sense like why didn't Red and Chloe wait and go to Castlecoming to make sure things went well? How did they know the villains being punished didn't stop them from continuing the prank or finding a different way to do it? It just felt a little abrupt. That being said, I do also like the idea of the movie ending with some unanswered questions but only if there will for sure be a follow up.

I just wanted to find out who ACTUALLY did the prank on Bridget. We can make the conclusion that in BOTH timelines, Uliana and her friends would’ve been frozen by the spell books safeguard so they couldn’t possibly have done the prank. Someone “good” took the book, but they were stopped by Red and Chloe without the girls even realizing. And if the present was changed, that means the reason leads back to them keeping the book from being taken by this mysterious “good” person.

12:03 anyone else notice how their wigs but more notably Bridget’s wig changes between the different camera angles? 😭 even in the shot where it shows her further away from the camera is a difference wig from when she’s shown up close with red. I like this one and I liked Red,also was unexpected to see Rita Ora as the Queen of Hearts. This one is darker slightly and that makes me think that they were going more by the books than the other movies which is fine. The books were written after the first two movies came out and have 4 books and before this movie came out the writer wrote a 5th book that is based off this movie. The other movies didn't dare go into the darker sides of things and I feel like this one does. Good to see Pablo back as prince Charming and Brandy back as Cinderella as well. My favorite song is Red's song at the beginning and it's always nice to see What's my name making a come back because that was my favorite song in the second movie. So sad that little tribute to Carlos and the actor in general. I liked Brigitte's song when they went to the past and also young Cinterella's song Hands Dirty that was a good one too and the one that Chloe and Red sing when they fight over the watch is also a good song. Nice to see that Hades never changed haha they chose a good actor for him in my opinion. The part when the Queen of Hearts makes the cards tuen into her guards always scares me a bit so to speak..kinda like a yikes reaction really. Nice reaction and glad to see people reacting to this one already.

If I’m going to be honest. I didn’t like this movie. It’s like the climax of the movie was at the start when the queen of hearts attacked everyone and it just went downhill because it didn’t address the other problems like the prom dance and the consequence of their actions besides on the queen. It’s like so easy to solve their problems and that’s it. It felt extremely short at the end.

I'm too late to comment on a video like this but after seeing a lot of people talking about it, my running theories are: -> Originally, the pranksters weren't the VKs. I think they were meant to be a decoy for us, the audience, to actually talk and think about how it doesn't make any sense because they would've been frozen in place anyway. I think who made or was blamed for the prank was Cinderella. Now, if that's it, why did Bridget change? I think it's because by changing Cinderella's path on the past, either the prank didn't go through OR she wasn't blamed, which could be the defining factor of what made the Queen of Hearts her evil self. Now, what went wrong for the whole sequel? Maybe Chad was never born due to the repercussions of changing the past? We don't really know much about Chloe to really speculate (maybe Disney lore fans can, who knows) but I think it will be something that happens to her and Red will have to do the difficult decision of being a good person and change things again, or be a villain and keep things like they are to have her good mom. -> Another theory I had was that, the VKs might've gotten the book and it could've been cursed but they didn't really get frozen, in the original timeline, due to them being adequately prepared for it in Ulliana's fish ship submarine thingy? Like, maybe someone nearby unfroze them or someone warned them and they uncursed it or something. And because they had Red and Chloe right in front of them this time, they opened it right away to spite them, thus becoming frozen. Not knowing what went wrong really can make us wonder about anything

I quite enjoyed this film! The songs were bangers, the story was unique, and the actors were amazing in their respective roles!!! I found the ending anticlimactic, but I strongly believe that all that will be explored in the next film!!! Similar to the Back To The Future trilogy, there are some unanswered questions such as that if a VK can’t open the cookbook but an AK can. Also take into account that Morgie was the only one not frozen; it’s possible he found a way to break the gang out or manipulated Ella or Bridget or someone else to open the cookbook and still pulled a prank. Glad to see some love for this movie cause I've been seeing a lot of hate for it. Don't get me wrong. The movie isn't perfect and I do have some complaints like how is Fairy Godmother a student the same time Cinderella is and how are Hades (a centuries old God) and Maleficent there? Also the abrupt, anti-climatic ending but overall, I thought the movie was a fun watch and I do feel it's overly hated except the hate about the abrupt ending is understandable but I hope a follow up can help explain it more. Some of the songs were bangers like Love Ain't It, Life is Sweeter and Get Your Hands Dirty. Also seeing Brandy and Paolo sing together again made me nostalgic heart so happy!
