My life has been quite interesting, some would say shocking or difficult. Well, when I was 14, I absolutely knew that a certain percentage of the population is insane. It wouldn't surprise me. It would be an eyeroll moment for me when I learned about it, but it wouldn't 'devastate' me to learn there are crazy people who are also stupid. This may not be true of people who hadn't been through all I did, so maybe I should try to imagine myself as someone who's charmed life never prepared them for the cruelty of others. Kind of like the book 'a brave new world' where they couldn't even look at an old person without taking soma.

“He has his whole life ahead of him” is an insane statement to make when there was A ONE YEAR OLD BABY WHO HAD HER WHOLE LIFE IN FRONT OF HER. I was especially infuriated when the internet came to the defense Cameron Herrin after he stripped a man of his wife and BABY, his family, for ILLEGALLY street racing in the first place. Not only that, but he showed absolutely no signs of remorse whatsoever.

I appreciate you literally telling us that it's not okay to romanticize serial killers and / or murders. So often now when I watch true crime, I hear these influencers saying something along the lines, "No judgment, you like what you like." It's not okay. I genuinely fear for women now. We've made it so easy to be taken advantage of because we have this fine line of "kinky" and "abuse"
@bjoardar
@bjoardar 4 ай бұрын
You know, the definition varies depending on the attraction of the perpetrator. That's what blows my mind. A guy who is seen as "creepy" and / or "abusive" by one woman, can instead be seen as "charming" and / or "kinky" by another woman, simply based on how attracted they are to the same man. The worst part is, they don't even have to know the guy, but simply judge him by looks alone. "S.a." if he's ugly, "flirting" if he's hot. Pretty privilege.

I agree, it should not be normalized un anyway. For every fucked up guy, you probably have a fucked up woman. We never think of girls like that because theyre supposed to be soft. But nope, plenty of women are fucked up, angry sadists. And internet has made it seem normal to these crazies because theres 1000s others to talk to that agree with them, And then they get banned together and little by little get a few others to join them. But yeah, most dont realize it but girls can be just as scary as guys. I guess it just rarely turns into brutal murders, but alot of girls are not turned off by it

This isn't a female exclusive trend. Yuka Takaoka was a Japanese bar hostess who stabbed a man because she "loved him so much". But she now has a mass following on social media because men find her attractive. I've also heard male friends make comments on putting up with the amount of "crazy" depends on how hot a woman is. I personally don't think it has anything to do with gender. I think it ties in with the idea of celebrity in general. We idealize the idea of people instead of acknowledging that people are just flawed humans.

While I can appreciate and respect how you might “feel” about the subject…. Documented statistics would seem to very clearly indicate that it is FAR more common for women to romanticize murderers and true crime in general. Sadly, this also further reinforces the FACT that men commit by FAR more violent crimes (obviously). All of this to say… no one metric about any given subject accurately represents any group… whether gender, sex, sexuality, race or otherwise…. as a whole. Unfortunately, you can paint an ugly picture for any one group of people when you make ANY narrative about ANY grouping…. and that really sucks in general :(

I've heard of this, it's supposedly a thing called "hybristophilia" or an attraction to dangerous criminals, which is an offshoot of "paraphilia", the broader tendency to develop fetishes about highly dangerous things. One report I read said that it's more commonly found in women, hence the tendency for being attracted to male criminals. There are a lot of really interesting articles about it. I guess the issue is that instead of people realizing that this attraction is abnormal, the internet gives these people a place to gain community and normalize something that should never be normalized at all.

Hybristophillia is a paraphillia (an experience of recurring or intense sexual arousal to atypical objects, places, situations, fantasies, behaviors, or individuals. It has also been defined as a sexual interest in anything other than a legally consenting human partner). While atypical, it's actually not abnormal evolutionary. Someone capable of murder would evolutionary be able to protect, therefore giving offspring the best chance of survival. So, the attraction is not abnormal, but atypical because most logical people understand that person could also murder you.

I watched an interview on lockdown 23 in the morning (which is a great channel you should check out!) that was with Wade's biological father. If you don't mention it during this video, he's the one that turned his son in. The first time he went to go see him at the visitation, Wade asked him "So you're the one that turned me in? And his dad said "yeah I turned you in. I could hear in your voice how excited you were and I knew that if you got away with this, you would just go somewhere else and do it again." Wade looked at him and said "you know me too well, don't you?" signifying that he would have indeed continued on with his rampage.

This is my opinion. And I'm a lesbian so DONT take this as a fantasy crap thing. I think that Wade definitely should be sentenced to death so Satan can do his work and so the family's of the victims including Kelly can be at peace . But Cameron. I believe the case as a 50/50. Although the woman and child were crossing the road. But was it a pedestrian crossing. Now I know what your thinking but wait. Cameron was driving over the speed limit , and there certainly is no excuse for it, Regardless of wiether it was an accident or not. In my opinion,I think he should've received a shorter sentence. About at lest 15 years in prison without the probability of parole. And definitely take his licence *PERMANENTLY*!! Thanks for reading this . Like to see your opinions .👇
@xXElliesguitarXx
@xXElliesguitarXx 5 ай бұрын
@@railwayfan-tiktok your opinion is your opinion but his sentence was merely a consequence of his recklessness. He wasn’t a child nor was this a one-off time he was speeding. I’ve always agreed with the saying “play stupid games, win stupid prizes”. He was speeding with his friends and he killed a mother and a child, not only ending two lives but destroying their families’ lives such as the father and husband. He knew what he was doing was illegal, he knew he could potentially hurt or kill someone driving at the speed he did, pedestrian or fellow driver. Whilst it’s normal for humans to feel pity or sympathy towards others predicaments, people like Cameron and Wade don’t deserve any. That’s my personal opinion!

I remember being so hurt when people dismissed the domestic violence I suffered growing up, insisting my father was "a great guy". It was terrible, to feel my pain was dismissed and deemed unimportant because someone had a vaguely positive impression of a man they only knew in passing. I can only imagine that this has to feel a thousand times more painful and infuriating--killing someone is supposed to be the automatic "no", but some people seem to think it's cool and edgy to like these wretched people. Losing your loved ones at the hands of another and having those people praised? No one deserves that much agony.

But some people don't seem to grasp that fiction and reality are different things. And that this guy is literally a monster who murdered innocent people for no reason. You nailed it. This is another SRA case. He's another satanic luciferian whose tribe is pleased that he's made the big time with lots of publicity, so they're augmenting it with their own praise & $. Some of the 'fawners' might be male cult members, just adding to the mystique of ugly behavior being attractive to women - so they have an excuse to do it to other women, just as some say that women like to be raped... not really, but it's an excuse for a guy to think he is pleasing a woman by overpowering her. There's also another movie coming out: Deadpool 2024. This might be a build-up to that movie, designed by public relations execs. ????? If so, it's sick as fk.

This case and some people’s reactions to it makes me so mad, like sure like villains in books and movies, but when it’s a real POS that hurt real people and ruined real lives that’s when it’s not acceptable. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
