This Nebraska football offseason challenges all that Matt Rhule knows about managing a CFB program

Conservatively, Rhule's Year 2 was a 9 win season, literally kicked 2 down to 7. The 2024 team had 10 wins in the palms of their hands. As wretched as year 1 was, they should have won 7. We'll see what this year brings of course, but it sure looks like Rhule is adapting well to the new game and actually IS on track to me.

Do we need a whole new way of sports reporting and engaging as fans? Those two groups are facing new challenges as they deal with the ever moving and volatile college regulations. I think a free start would be good for everybody. Let's stop dragging the past into every discussion. That would be a great place to start

Question for the mailbag. Whatever happened to the player that just showed up to nebraska with experience? He just enrolled and then came and said, oh hey i can play football! I don't remember the position or what scholl he came from.

Maybe you are referring to Mark Markway, TE from LSU. I think he was injured this year but is still on the roster.

You know, it is really distracting hearing Connor Happer near constantly saying “You know.” If he wants to be better as a broadcaster he should cut down on the “You knows.”

Rhule finally adopting the Prime playbook regarding transfers may be a little too late!

Recruiting and development at a high level will still trump the portal, but low 3 and 2 star and walk on talent will have to be developed by lower tier and fcs schools. The ability to buy a roster on an annual basis is not viable.
