It’s nice, but I’m not the biggest fan of the larger screen. I think the 12” screen in my ‘19 Laramie Longhorn has the perfect screen to physical button ratio. Plus I drove it off the lot for only $38k with 68k miles and a clean car fax report and has damn near every single bell and whistle that the Limited has.

@AlphaShark2 ай бұрын
Thank you! Yes I do get negative comments, but I expect that. I’d be weary to call it real persecution though. Just because the torture that Jesus and many others around the world throughout history have gone is multitudes greater than a handful of angry KZbin comments. I just feel bad for the people that comment those things because it shows me that they’re very lost. Gives me something to pray for.

Just bought a 25 Limited Longhorn. Absolutely the best truck on the market. The interior is top notch, and the power is better than the outgoing hemi. Fun fact. There's a button on the driver's side of the tailgate to auto close. It's a little hard to find until you know it's there. I haven't seen a reviewer find it yet.

while i agree that the truck is loaded , i think that is a function of the massive drop in sales they are experiencing to try to bring some people back , in terms of reliability it is a solid mid with Chev and Toyota in the top 3 for issues per 100 vechiles. However ! i am a features guy so , if i ever need the additional tow rating and space its back in the running!

At the 16.10 minute mark you are partially incorrect on how to turn on the AC/heated seats. You said you have to go thru the menus etc. The little buttons on the top left and top right do that. Its where the 72 degrees is shown. Yes it's a digital button but you don’t need to go thru menus like you stated.

6:34 - Gasp! A rare sighting of legendary songwriter Diane Warren in the wild! Anyway, as much as I want to love this truck again as I used to, after spending time with its Stellantis cousins through rentals (Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer), I fear the "go-go gadgets" will be as glitchy and the overall fit and finish poorly built as they are in the 'neers. I could visit my local dealer and see for myself, but that's why I watch informative and thorough reviews such as yours, so I don't have to unless/until I'm ready, lol! It's still beautiful inside and out, though!

So did you record the inside first? Because if you lowered the truck all the way down then how could you lower it again once inside? Or does it automatically rise to a certain height once you get inside?
@AlphaShark3 ай бұрын
I tend to shoot these videos chronologically, so I did shoot the inside later. It does automatically raise itself when driving, but I also raised the ride height manually in this case in between takes.
@codychild26652 ай бұрын
You can raise the ride height up to OFF ROAD 2 but if you go over 20 MPH, the truck automatically lowers it to OFF ROAD 1. Then, if you go over 40 MPH, the truck lowers it to NORMAL. Then, if you go over 60, the truck lowers automatically to AERO mode which helps with aerodynamics at highway speeds. The ride with the air suspension on these RAMS are next level.

Great video, waiting on your upcoming video on the new 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger. That is the truck I am waiting on to hit the market. 0-60 in 4.4 sec, and a 14,000lb towing capacity on standard 8-lug wheels. Not to mention, it has a Pentastar V-6 engine but that is a generator only that is not connected to the drive line. It's powered by electric motors giving it the sports car like power and towing in an estimated 690mi driving range. I'm going full solar on my house in about 3 weeks through Better Earth. The Ramcharger can go about 140 miles on battery alone, so I could theoretically fill up the 27 gal. fuel tank and drive for a couple thousand miles or more without touching a drop of fuel or even paying to recharge it. I only average about 80-100 miles a day. That could equate to thousands of totally free miles. Then when you do need to take a long trip, you recharge the battery on the fly WITHOUT having to stop at recharging stations. That is the video I'd like to see from you when you get a chance. hint-hint.😜
@AlphaShark2 ай бұрын
I have talked at length about how I feel the RamCharger is the future of electric vehicles not fully electric. Trust me, the second I get the chance there WILL be a full review.
@stevegibson7432 ай бұрын
@@AlphaShark Can't wait. Hopefully, you and I get them the same day. I am going full Solar in the next 3 weeks to a month, through Better Earth. Everything is approved and have the permits, just waiting on scheduling for the new roof, then the panels the following week. I'll be producing over 100% of usage power. My electric bill will totally go away and the cost of the system in nearly $260 cheaper monthly than I was paying on avg for TXU. I only drive 80-110 miles a day, so in theory I should be able to drive several thousand miles on the single on a single 27-gal tank of gas. Then, when I do have to make a long trip, I will have the full 690mi range at the same mpg as the other trucks while still having the electric performance. You have a new subscriber btw.
@alp3781Ай бұрын
I want to lease one, but I refuse to pay 1200 a month for 36 months with 10K miles a year. Not going to happen. Just insane. I will hold 2-3 years and they will drop 25% on a dealer cert truck.

@AlphaShark I test drove one today, would have been a downgrade from my 2022 Platinum F150. I had high hopes but no hands free driving, no 360 camera, and the one I looked at had the RAM box which made the bed tiny. The Platinum and High Country have more elegant, elevated feels to them.
