@@TenPinLife If i’m not mistaken, you’re only allowed a total of 10 balls to check into the US Open to bowl competition with. So I believe the strategy is to bowl with equipment that you’re familiar with, since you’re so limited to what you can use. USBC stuff. Not the same as PBA stops where you can drill something up in the middle of competition.

I will root for you this PBA season. That 900 Global Eternity looks impressive, I may look into it having in my bag one day. I recently got the Idol Helios from Roto Grip two weeks ago, and I love it.

Literally a day or two after the revenant/absolute launched, I heard the eternity was coming along with roto grip's TNT (symmetrical reactive solid). Then I heard yesterday that hammer is making a hybrid version of the black widow 2.0. Only a month into 2023, and we already have 5 bowling balls either already released or that will be released.

I’m using my Belmo Fate as a replacement for the UFO Alert. Move left, drop speed hook the entire lanes. Obviously need the proper drilling for that!

What would be some good ball suggestions for not a beginner but definitely not professional 2 handed bowler ? i have a fairly similar release to Belmo’s at least from what i’ve been told to give you an idea of my form and the way i carry the ball down the lane, i tend to prefer a more off the back end ball but i just am not as knowledgeable to make any good decisions or to know some good options

So pearl wise I went from snap lock which had decent angular motion and hook but no continuation to altered reality which has really good back end snap and good continuation sometimes a tad to strong on drier lanes. Would this be slightly stronger than snap lock or about the same

Looks as if MB is closer to thumb on Eternity than on Absolute. How much would that effect the ball motion comparison?

Closer to thumb is cleaner snappier but the way u throw is king from what I’ve seen drilling only varies the motion 10% or less Maby 1-2 boards at most way less than you expect. Ppl make it sound like a lot but after have balls redrilled to different drillings it was very disappointing so don’t worry about it

i think the real question is, how does it compare to the exotic gem? Because i have still yet to see a ball that hooks and has as much and has as much backend as the exotic. Everyday that ball still amazes me.
