For those who may not have watched Mark's video, Lixian was making this game before Mark told him he was making a movie inspired by Iron Lung, so this game was not influenced by that, it was all Lixian wanting to make a Lunglike game.

I really like that it peeks in on you. It shows it has a decent grasp that you are a creature with an outer shell it needs to destroy to get to that succulent flesh pile. Means it is intelligent to some degree, and understands the situation.

A bit simple sure but that doesn't make it bad. I'd sooner play this than the garbage triple A games we're being fed now days for sure. ... With exceptions of course. Really looking forward to dragon's dogma 2 and the new spiderman game.

Never played it but for some reason I’m a huge fan of iron lung. A solid concept. A creative plot. Horror elements without only relying on jump scares. Designed to give you fear of the known just as much as the unknown. Very simple but well made. A game you can actually tell someone really enjoyed coming up with and putting together. Gotta five massive props to the creators. Hopefully they can keep making good games while keeping those same elements in mind because literally every triple A developer has lost them

I've watched a few playthroughs of this game so far and you're literally the ONLY one who checked out the dock after the sub was dragged down. So cool that Lixian thought of that possibility and added that little touch of the eyeball looking at you!! Also, I have to laugh that EVERY playthrough so far has caused the player to yell out "I *just* fixed that!!" 😆 Love your playthroughs, man, you deserve all the subs (but not the ones that go deep underwater and get bashed around by Cthulhu!) :P

This is so good! I am so glad Lixian has been making games as well as raising a young child and being an editor. He is amazing and is an inspiration to creative people. Work hard and have fun at your work, that is what I take from these videos. I would love to see an interview with Lixian or even a co-op IGP and Lixian gameplay where they just shoot the shit.

I like how Sinking Iron and Iron Lung tackle the aspect of a horror game in two different ways. In Iron Lung is was a slow build up, the further you went along you slowly begin to realize there’s something down in the deep with you. In Sinking Iron the beast attacks you right out of the gate and you need to act fast in order to prevent the monster from killing you. Both methods still achieve the goal of making you feel terrified, making you feel like prey, and how the only thing keeping you safe is so easily torn apart. Also IGP you haven’t seen King Kong yet? I’d give it a watch when and if you can (especially the 2005 version) great film, not to mention the visuals of the 2005 film still hold up incredibly well.
