Favorite Producer - Alex Rome. He doesn't publish a lot of videos, but man, what he does is amazing. Thanks for reviewing this one. Seems pretty interesting and I get why its so CPU heavy. This is a good one to flatten and freeze or bounce to audio, when you get out of it, what you need.

My favorite producer at the moment is Alva Noto. It's a shame that this synth is the last one he developed. It was announced a long time ago and it was probably not an easy process. But this is now a very unusual piece of software.

He's responsible for lot of Motown records. I grew up on soul and Motown because of my dad who had old records, which kind of made me end up doing Hip Hop. And for Hip Hop producers/beatmakers, J Dilla and Just Blaze

Favourite producers are Mizell Brothers. Originally students of epic Jazz trumpet player Donald Byrd, they went on to produce him, in a band they called the Blackbyrds, Johnny Hammond, Gary Bartz and numerous other Jazz Funk stars of the seventies. I also hold David Axelrod, another Seventies Funk producer, in high esteem. Who produced lush filmic arrangements based on conceptualisations of classic literature, by the likes of William Blake. These producers did a lot to shape the sound of seventies funk, but also went, through people rediscovering their work to influence the sound of 90's Acid Jazz, and later interpretations of Funk music to this day, in addition to being sampled almost as much as James Brown, thereby shaping the sound of Hip Hop significantly. These are just a few greats from this era that I can name, with numerous others from that period coming to mind, like Alan Parsons, for instance, as well as many more in the intervening years to this day. Impossible question to answer conclusively.
