Government debt worldwide is the largest bubble in history. And within this bubble, US debt is the biggest one. The fact is that we are over 36T in debt and that every time the Fed cuts rates the 10Y goes up, destroying the value of US debt. Printing or defaulting are the only ways out. So either the currency goes down to cap long term yields and keep the debt market under control (Japan today) or the value of the debt gets crushed as yields and the currency rise (US as of late). Currency or debt... Only one will survive and the US will not default which means gold up / USD down is where we are headed.
