My father was captured but before that ran and informed villagers and his family and saved them. After being captured his hands were tied by Pakistani sympathesizers. He was fired upon 3 times from close range for execution but gun was jammed every single time. Seeing this his captors left him there fearing that they will be attacked by other villagers. He escaped. But later my father kept looking for that bastard. He could not find him. Later he heard that bastard was captured after war. Villagers cut him into small pieces and buried him.

My grandfather also participated in this war on behalf of India, he was an army engineer. He told me that before the surrender, Pakistani soldiers had looted a lot of money and expensive goods in Dhaka, which was recovered from them during the surrender process. it was very embarrassing for their officers. Another thing he told me was that the Pakistani soldiers were so coward that they were saluting even the sweepers of the Indian Army. And he always used to say that the Indian Army has done a bigger job than defeating Pakistan and that is to save the Pakistani soldiers and their families from the vengeance of the Bengali people. Otherwise not a single Pakistani or their family members would have survived, and their end would have been very pitiful.

In 1965 War, the opponents shot down Mystere fighter jets and Vampire fighter planes over Kashmir, Sargodha and Murid. Enemy, lost 11 total in first two days of War. Maurut was already grounded due to the fear of opponenet far superior air force, though very small in number. Enemy, was left with Hunters, Mig-21s and Gnats.

PAFs raid on Indian airfields inspired by Israeli raid on Egyptian airfields a country pakistan doesn't even recognise had no effect whatsoever all airfields were up and running in 2 days, major reason lack of ammunition which plagued PAF throughout the war India retaliated the very next days with counter strikes which pakistan knew very well and that's the losses you boast about, within first days of war PAF lost all its offensive capabilities in all sectors which is the major reasons why PAF couldn't support any Army offensive in the western front PAF s conditions was so worst that US pressured middle East to send additional fighters to pakistan and you only got 3,4 from Jordan and Saudi, If pakistan had ariel superiority in the west then pak army could've launched spearhead Which they did try but failed due to lack of air support, battle of longewala is the best example of failures of PAF.
