LETSGOOOOO HADES VIDEO. The other day, I was doing Athena attack on zag fists for deadly reversal and stuff, then I got ares and took the special for whatever reason, realized I had activated merciful end and thought "is every fists run a merciful end run?". Got ME and Athena dash before ending Tartarus, sold the attack, got ares instead and blitzed through the rest of the run

I've either been super lucky with this duo boon, or super cursed and it doesn't appear all run. Idk why but it really feels like it rarely appears for me, but I enjoy the hell out of it whenever it does.

I find that when it does appear, the rest of my build is pretty mediocre. Any run where I get epic hyper delivery or a lot of chaos it doesn’t show up and vice versa.

@@vividbiomass620 The two statuses activate privileged status, and their duo boon allows for extra hangover stacks. Ares on attack and Dio on special with Chiron bow makes healthbars melt.

If you do this with gilgamesh you can just hold down the dash and attack buttons, since gilgamesh dashes auto-target if you aren't moving yourself

Honestly, that duo boon only really works in combination with impending doom. Otherwise it's barely 2x dmg than without the boon...

This is my most favorite build in hades, but man is this a pain to setup. You need 4 chambers in order to build this, 5 if you want the extra damage from impending doom. I always end up building this when I'm already at Elysium lol.

Why using the demeter first if you are not using the special? Only because the attack base is stronger?

Is there a reason you use ares attack rather than athena attack when going for the merciful end boon? it seems like the rapid attack would cause the boon dmg to occur more?

You'd have to use Ares special then and it's just not a great way to apply it. It's easiest to just dash-attack constantly.

Pretty much this, it's unlikely to not get the hammer offered again before the end of Asphodel and for this type of build I don't consider it a priority as much as getting the Doom damage up.
