In this video, you’re gonna be on the boat with me for 2 full hours! This is an experimental video to allow you all to see the full experience of how my POV looks like when it’s fishing time.
Right off the bat, I’m going to give timed descriptions on when the action started, so you all won’t get bored with times where there’s no fish being caught. Starting with:
*Minute - 34:10 is the first fish caught.
*Minute - 37:10 is the first Crappie Caught.
After the first Crappie, about an average of 2-4 minutes there was one Crappie after another caught, with a few moments in between where I’m flapping my gums.
*Hour - 1:30 was the last of consistent fish being caught.
*Hour - 1:47 through 1:52 two small fish were caught. After that, no other fish was caught towards the end of the video.
Please do leave a comment if this kind of video is something you all like to watch, for it is the first time I’ve ever done this, and may be the only time, because of how hard it was to do so much editing on my phone to get the clips out together. It’s wild, because of all of this being done in my iPhone, the challenges I had to endure getting this video together, and clearing apps to make GB space to put this video together without interruptions. (One day I’ll invest in a good computer or laptop and do all my videos from there, instead of from my iPhone).
Back to the fishing side of things: I went with what I’ve fished with the most when it comes to jigs. A simple Walmart eagle claw jighead and Bobby garlands. All the fish I caught at the beginning of the video was from the Mayfly color. There was a couple times I tried the threadfin color, too. The jig size is 1/32 ounce. (The water was too cold for fish to bite off a 1/16 ounce jighead. The quickness to work that size of jig wouldn’t have matched how quick the crappie bite was). 4 pound test line made by Sufix. Bass Pro Shops brand Dough Bait Ultra-lite rod and reel that’s a 5:3:1 gear ratio.
It’s unfortunately not an uncut video, because of my batteries dying and having to put new GoPro batteries in to keep the video going. But! In terms of all the moments in between battery changes were missed, it was only 30 seconds at most missing with nothing important happening. So don’t worry about missing out on any crazy action I might’ve had that didn’t get caught on camera!
Thank you all so much that have Subacribed to my channel, and especially A HUGE THANK YOU to those that have commented in my videos outreaching to me about whatever’s on their mind or just simply reacting to my videos in general. I’m so thankful that I’m almost at 300 subscribers, and it couldn’t be that way without you all! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!! I’ll be sure to have much more content to come y’all’s way this year. Here’s to a cheerful and hopefully awesome 2024!! 🤘🏼👽🤘🏼
