Can’t believe it’s almost 2025 already. This year I’ve barely registered at all and it’s just about over

Same and I don’t know why but it almost felt like a quarantine year

You are definitely not alone; and I agree with the “quarantine year” comment too! Somehow felt more like quarantine than quarantine. (Quarantine without the “we’re in this together” sentiment.)

@@21cormorants I’m both glad and sad to know I’m not the only one who felt that way this year.

Random habit that led to multiple damaging behaviours: focussing too much on my skin in the bathroom mirror when getting ready. I remind myself not to look into mirrors during the day and at night I just have the low warm mirror light on so I don’t see every little perceived flaw. When I’m applying make up I use a little compact mirror to focus on the task not how I look overall. It helps when you’re trying not to feel rubbish about yourself.

You should do a video on the habit of watching self-help videos. For example; taking notes, internalizing, processing, and how to incorporate in your life. Thank you for all you do!

My worst habit is procrastination because it gives me the illusion of more time. But the longer it goes on the bigger my actual time debt becomes so I'm even more reluctant to change.

My "one thing" is definitely waking up early. I get so much more done in regards to my goals when I wake up at 5:00AM than when I allow myself to sleep in until like 9:00 or 10:00. If I can make the 5AM thing a habit, the other healthy habits take care of themselves.

Do you have tips for people who struggle with task paralysis or finding it hard to continue doing stuff after getting started.

I need to exercise but I find it pointless b/c I don't notice any results. So I'm choosing to BRIBE myself to exercise. I pay myself a certain amt of money every week for exercising. That way i can physically hold in my hand the fruits of my labor and I stop seeing it as pointless.

Always been a fan of "what can I do to improve things" which is ... both a long list, and a challenging one :D but I have seen a few videos on this and I think you're spot on that a "not to-do list" is almost more important. I have lost more weight in 3 weeks ... not buying stuff I am 100% unable to resist snacking on, not eating while I cook (and then not being hungry anymore when it's ready) and dropping the habit from my parents that you eat a meal regardless of whether or not you're hungry when it's time for lunch/diner ... than in most failed diet attempts at eating stuff I genuinely didn't enjoy.
