Learning that the Berkes structure is actually advantageous (from your Chessable course) has made playing the London much more comfortable. Thank you.

At 35:09, why not greek gift? Use the g1 pawn to run away his knight, move your knight to F3, bishop sacrifice on H7, Knight to F7 check, and then bring in the Queen?

I am constantly making the wrong choice in the following situation. I win some material, and the opportunity to exchange Queens occurs. Should I trade down into the endgame, or should I keep the Queens on attack? Whenever I analyze these moments after it seems like I always make the wrong choice. Very frustrating.

Below 1000 elo I would recommend normal London, above that my favourite is Jobava. Both are good and supplement each other so at some point knowing both won’t hurt!

The analogy of going on vacation and not controlling the spending got me hard. I once went on vacation to a neighboring country using public transportation with friends. Then we met a guy there from our town with his car stuck and didn't have any money for gas because he was really dumb and didn't know how to control his spending. The different in currency exchange was huge although they are called the same . So the man was spending like crazy thinking everything was cheap lol So we used him as a driver in exchange for paying the gas while there and to return back home.
@virajdeshpande37014 ай бұрын
Really curious about these neighbouring countries that have similarly named currencies with wildly different exchange rates. First guess would be pesos in South America, probably Argentine and Uruguayan. Am I right?
@angosalvo57344 ай бұрын
@@virajdeshpande3701 not even close lol It's north Africa, Algeria to Tunisia. We both use Dinar as currency.
@virajdeshpande37014 ай бұрын
@@angosalvo5734 well, it was a guess. There are quite a few combinations in the world.
@angosalvo57344 ай бұрын
@@virajdeshpande3701 To his defense, it's easy to get confused. The difference in Fuel prices is huge also. It's extremely cheap in Algeria while like 5 or 6 times more expensive in Tunisia.
