I've run 4 fletch gateway razor feathers for the last 10 years 😅.

I use the TAC DRIVER 2.75 for my 3 fletch and the TAC DRIVER 2.25 for my 4 fletch and they weigh about the same and group about the same!

Me personally I like the 4 fletch as well. I just switched myself cause I started making my own arrows. I feel like the 4 fletch with helical just flys and groups better.

@landonmauldin42 i believe so too. I'm setting my hunting and target up on 4 fletch. I think they really perform better in longer ranges. Best of luck to ya!

I use TAC DRIVER 2.75 for my 3 fletch and TAC DRIVER 2.25 for my 4 fletch. They weigh and group about the same. Left helical on both. Sirius Gemini arrows (lower gpi)…. 460 grain arrow/15.5% FOC …… 29 3/8” carbon to carbon. 31.5” draw

That sounds like a pretty good build!

Already sub but still a easton bloodline shooter. 2 in. Blazer

@BucksBeesS.C. them ol bloodline were some good arrows! Kinda hard to come by now though! Gotta snatch then hp when ya can find some. And I have ran blazers for a long time myself as well. Just a solid do all type fletching. I'm hearing the black sky is the same style Blazer but with a stuffer material to be quieter. That'll be something to check into.

New subscriber…. I have not had any issues out of the Tac vanes. I hear some say they do, but I like them so far. I to have been trying to decide on 3 verses 4 fletch. But I’m still in the air on that. So, you like the TKO arrows better than the axis 5mm? Do you have a video on why, besides the spine indicator?
@WadesSwampDonkeyArchery6 ай бұрын
@C.Fowler no video, just personal preference and I have just personally seen woven carbon fiber hold up better to abuse. I don't have anything against other shafts. I do like the axis and have set up several bows with them. Once I figured out the correct way to apply the tac vanes I really like them. I had issues at first but that was just how I was setting jig up and not using thier prep pen. Thanks for the Sub!!! I really appreciate that!

You have to use a fixed blade broadhead to see difference. 3 fletch spins arrow better.

I haven't found much different at longer range between 3 and 4 fletch unless I was using very small vanes like a Pro Max or Griff-X 2.3" vane. I also hate TAC vanes 😂. I'm messing around with the Bohning Black Sky 2.0 which is a Blazer profile but very stiff like a TAC vane and much easier to fletch. So far they fly broadheads really well in 3 fletch with helical and are much quieter than a Blazer. And only 6 grains each.

@stick__shooter I may have to check them out. I do like the stiffer material. The OG Blazer is just such a damg good fletching. So if they make em stiff that should be legit. It has taken me a while to get the hang of the tac vanes. They are just finicky. Gotta use thier vabe prep. Then make sire there is 0 aor bubbles. And the big thing is make sure u have 100% contact. Once I got a jig to work I labeled it Tac and I don't adjust it! Lol. Imma check out them black sky! Thanks for telling me that.

I still like the blazer vanes 3 fletch on the easton bloodline 400 spine for 50 lb. 27 draw on a bear legion. Have some 480 spine that works also just lighter. 350 to 370 for 400 aprox.with 100 gr. Broadhead or field point
