As a Belgian who generally uses mayo on his fries I tried them in the US and yes, THOSE are disgusting because what you call mayo isn't ours. Here in Belgium at least there is a decent amount of regulation around what mayo is, not so in the US and as a result at least the 2 times I tried it it tasted nothing like what I buy here.
