Paddy King Yes but it’s hard to determine which region is the strongest when comparing them other than during international events. But I do understand the logic. Say if Turkey were to win worlds, that doesn’t necessarily mean Turkey is better than the LPL or LCK as a region. But in the same time, if you cannot produce a team that will win worlds, why are you even the best region?

LCK seemed the strongest last year with a top 6 of KT, AFC, Griffin, Kingzone, Gen G, SKT. But it's so unpredictable as we saw upsets like AFC loses 3-0 to C9 and RNG lose 3-2 to G2. LCK teams will continue to look incredibly strong against their own region but they need to learn to adapt to playing at a faster pace

As it was said, there are 2 conferences, West and East, they're assigned into those based on which city their stadium's located, for now, only 5 teams have those, so, the rest plays in Shanghai and a draw assigns them a conference. In 2018, 7 teams, in every conference, played a double round robin of Bo3s, then, before starting the 2nd part of the double round robin, they played a single round robin of interconference Bo3s. They'll probably keep this format (not sure, though), now with 2 new teams, one is SinoDragon Gaming, which won the LDL Summer, months later, their franchise application was accepted, the other is Victory Five, which they only applied to the league; they're a brand new organization in the LPL.

PLOT TWIST: We shouldn't actually care that much, but it's propaganda to get people invested and passionate about "their" region, so we watch more tournaments and such to generate riot more money. While neither NA or EU are honestly that great of regions by any means, at least not consistently great.

NA casters, players and fans keep acting like they are better or that they are comparable when if you look at the results they just aren't. If NA was better than EU, I highly doubt you'd get analysts like Deficio trying to argue that EU is better like they do for NA the bias is tilting.

@@DjokovicIsOurLordAndSaviour I guess, i dont think you understand what propaganda is though. EU might be better overall, but I think most casters will be biased to their own region. There are EU casters that are clearly biased too, and try to defend losing teams because EU is overall better. I dont like this because the team they are defending clearly lost and they try to use overall region stats as their crutch. They should just discuss individual games and how the players did, rather than compare entire regions like they often do. Annnd i see you may be an EU fan, but also consider the fact that EU has more league players than NA does, so statistically speaking, EU should be overall better than NA just based on player base and "resource" (players) they can use.
