I’m happy so long as eu or na win. Always rooted for NA or EU even though I am Australian I am extremely proud to say that they have not only beaten the best teams at worlds but also RNG as the 3rd seed from Europe. Europe has had the biggest growth imo. I think the top 5 from Europe could do the same things that the top two have. I cannot say the same for NA. NA needs to invest into academy more or even securing higher caliber players. If Bjergson was on TL worlds woukd be a different story. Why aren’t team willing to spend more to secure stardom at such big events? I have always supported tsm but they have fallen victim to their play style and thinking that there is only one way to win worlds. The way is to play your own play style and outplay the opponent through macro AND team play. The way to win worlds is being unpredictable. The people they have dropped like Sven, doublelift and even more have not been smart moves as a business. They have tried to mould good players to play styles they just don’t fit. And the style they want them to play just isn’t the right one. If you play text book every single game you are too predictable. Play yourself. But play as a cohesive unit. That is the way to win worlds. I am leaning towards fanatic this year and I really hope I’m right. I’m always open to a c9 upset. I just don’t want to see another “typical” Korea or China win.

Ehhh Fnatic made mistakes as well. This series is unlikely to be a 3-0 on either side. Cloud 9 has 2 major things going for them. They seemed to improve drastically after every phase of this tournament and I expect them to be even better when facing Fnatic. Another thing is that cloud 9 has shown that they can play virtually any style available in the game at a reasonable level so they aren't really pigeonholed into playing any certain way. I just think it's a little cocky and disrespectful to think the cloud 9 has no chance and if the team is they can like that it's going to be very badd for Fnatic Because if they do think like that and cloud 9 takes game one they are going to tilt really really hard.
