It's even worse when you consider that Outlaws is shooting their new creators in the foot. If Outlaws shifted in this new direction properly and with their fans and community in mind, they would have a way better starting point: "Outlaws is bringing some new people on. I like outlaws. I think I'll check out their non-overwatch content". "Holy ****, outlaws got recommended in my youtube feed and MY overwatch strimmer is in the thumbnail? They really do still care about the OG fanbase". Instead, they get: "who even are these people?" Important to note, It's not the new people's fault in any way, and I'm sure they're great at what they do. But I mean, it's like putting two and two together. Outlaws has a massive overwatch fanbase. Just maintain that while sliding in new creators/types of content at the same time. Big names in the overwatch scene literally offered to band-aid the situation.

No disrespect to the creators because they probably have nothing to do with the videos but my god learn the algorithm and system. I’d understand if they consistently got 250k but they get nothing. If what I think is gonna happen and probably is what’s gonna happen, they’re just gonna sink money into thinking it will work when in reality you can’t just sink money into it. You need a niche and they had one, OW. Not anymore cause they’re trying to do multiple games. It’s like starting as a variety streamer which is a no no UNLESS you have a following already and are porting them over from like TikTok. Give it 6 months and they’ll shut it down.

I wish I bought the Philadelphia fusion rein skins. Favorite league team. Instead I got the outlaws skin because I liked the away skin. I want a refund…

Whoever’s running the Twitter account is going to have a rough time being considered for future PR gigs after this. Not professional at all. Massive fail from the Outlaws. Their fans deserved better.

"We understand this wont be for everyone, and thats okay". Did they just pull the G4 special with the "Dont like it, dont watch it"?

It's so funny how out of touch this is. They don't understand that esports orgs are just overglorified sponsors. Nobody cares about the fucking brand. They care about the talent that the org is made out of. And that's the mistake they made. They think their value is in the brand and they can use the brand as a springboard to start something new. I care about G2 or Outlaws because your name is on the jersey of my favourite player in my favourite game. Not the other way around.

Lol what’s the issue? It’s just an expansion of there brand it’s like 100t switching to content like who tf cares this is awesome! What’s the issue????

TBH I don't really get the hate and i'm an outlaws fan myself. They simply don't want to end it just because overwatch league is over so now they are switching to content creation. Essentially its becoming a brand so they dont really have to keep it in the overwatch comunity. I just dont get why people are hating on them for doing what they want to do instead of fading into obscurity with all the other teams. Be more positive and accepting of people doing what they want to do.

I swear to god. if i have to watch two 4:57 second adds just to watch the video then another two 00:50 second adds just randomly in a video. The rage.

Bro they didn’t say bye or thank you because they are continuing to make content lol as far as the overwatch thing goes the games dying bro and the fan base obviously isn’t supporting them enough or else overwatch league wouldn’t have died like it did

Sound pretty sad that people are mad at a company that literally saw you as dollar signs, they are rebranding for more income.. and now i understand why half of the ow fanbase has helped with ushering the Garbage we got for ow2 pay for everything lol

Reminds me of when they tried to make "cOnTeNt" with the old Outlaws players and that shit was really out of touch cringe too

Outlaws was the only team I ever got skins for. It really sucks they went this route and are apparently dragging four other creators down with them for no reason

Nah middle creator dude is dragging himself down just fine by bitching with Outlaws fans for no reason

I wish they'd have changed the name. Outlaws has no value outside of Overwatch and what they're doing is shitting on that legacy.

As soon as I graduate and want to make a career in esports ( specifically OWL) it shuts down 😕

The only reason I liked the Outlaws was for their color scheme. The green on black is my jam.
