For fun decks, I've honestly really enjoyed Venasaur Lilligant... but a meme deck I've been having a lot of fun with is Seadra, Greninja, and Pigeot. With those cards, you can deal 70 damage to cards on the bench and have a permanent Sabrina with the Pigeot ability to get rid of cards that the opponent sets up. Adding Zebstrika and/or Aerodactyl could be good as well. And there's always Lickitung. 😂

7:12 A deck I concocted that's really stupid and fun is: 3 Energies with Ditto (1x), Wheezing (2x), Lickitung (2x), Hypno (1x) deck. Always Dark energy then the 2 others are up to you. It's a bit of a gamble since it's depending on your enemy and the Energies you picked if you can use Ditto but it's set up in a way where you can still win without *needing* Ditto. But OH BOY if it works out and you can use Ditto it's SO FUN. The logic behind it is to primarily pressure with Wheezing (that's why u need Dark energy, without it you're too passive) and then when it gets low you Koga it out into Ditto or Lickitung (if Ditto doesn't work) with Sleep Pedulum ability to get out of sticky situations. Your opponent can be Asleep & Poisoned at the same time which feels illegal lmao

There's a Japanese player that goes by Akechi-they used a variation of this deck that removes Articuno EX and puts Dugtrio in the spotlight instead of Aerodactyl. I barely came out the winner (because how dare they challenge a water type deck with Frosmoth and Articuno to a coin flip contest). I was so flabbergasted that I felt a kinship. After I had reached out my hand in friendship, they didn't accept lol. This is the dark path we walk on.

6:58 i just played my first ever game with Aerodactyl against a Starmie/Lapras deck. Not only did my opponent flip tails immediately on both Misty cards, but I kept flipping heads and sending his pokemon back to the shadow realm. I lost the match, but I could not stop laughing. Easily the best match I've ever played.

I'm loving this game so much, deck building has been a blast even in such little time and as a f2p player, I can't even imagine how full it'll be in a year after multiple expansions or even in a few months when i have more cards and HOPEFULLY GET MY CHASE EXs INSTEAD OF SO MANY ARTICUNOS. At least i can trade them later on for EX cards i actually like lmao. I tried a fire/water deck with centiscorch since he needs very few fire energies and it's been super fun. I run it with normal starmie for pivoting, snorlax as a wall and regular articuno as another tank or damage dealer if misty doesn't hate me. But with more cards I'd probably change it. I'm also trying out wiggly with everything, and right now a mix of blaine agro with 1 rapidash (don't have more) and 2 Magmars feels super fun, it's a nice mixture of aggressiveness and patience to get your wiggly EX. I got a Japanese wiggly ex on a wonderpick and its my favorite card, and i also spent 35 pack points on regular wiggly to be able to play it more, maybe it was stupid but its such a fun card that can fit any color deck, that the investment felt worth it to me, and i also like having both EX and Regular for flexibility and more options, its been good. I really can't wait for that jiggly promo, it'll be an insane buff.

I just tried a variation of this with Wigglytuff and it was op, I figured out how to always flip heads and they were paralyzed the whole game, the only time they weren't was when I had to k.o a Pokemon and the next switched in, maybe Dragonite + hypno + Articuno + Sabrina can take care of that by whittling them down with Articuno+hypno then pushing them back to the bench with 50 or less health while you wait for Dragonite to come online, then when they're all weak switch in Dragonite and you never get hit, maybe 3 k.o.s with that strategy. To always flip heads, grab the coin at the very top of the coin, then right as you touch the bottom of your Pokemon in the active spot let go, it's a very short distance, worked every time for me. Don't spread this or they'll patch it

You have to try marowak, dugtrio & hitmonlee deck. The amount of times I won by knocking out the opponents benched pokemon is crazy. And I got my 45 wins with it. So insanely strong

Hey Spragels! I’m completely new to Pokemon tcg in general so I recently subbed to your channel to learn how to build decks and that brings me to my deck I’ve built myself and have been having a ton of fun with! I call it the sniper deck, I run 2x froakie/frogadier/greninja, 1x horsea/seadra (only because I don’t have a 2nd seadra), 2x bruxish, 1x xspeed, 2x pokeballs, 2x professors, 2x sabrinas, 2x misty’s, and 1x giovanni. (You can switch out a bruxish and a misty for another horsea and seadra) Now the goal is to have 2 greninjas and a seadra online to damage each opponents pokemon at least once with water shuriken and water arrow and have bruxish switch in to clean up the board. I had a ton of fun with it, maybe you would like to give it a try and see for yourself! Thanks for all the content and tips! Keep up the great work!

Math why this works: There is a ~70% chance(11/16) with two hypnos on the bench that the enemy is unable to act. With one hypno, it's ~63% chance So, yes, Jake, you were literally in the 30% timeline for a turn.

7:12 i've absolutely no clue how to play pokemon tcg nor build decks and have pretty bad cards but one deck i've been enjoying is my nidoking/arbok deck. i run it with 2 farfetch'd as well to fill the last few slots (since i don't have enough support/item cards to fill those). no giovanni cause i don't have those but it's very very fun to watch my opponents instantly concede as my arbok locks their dying ex card from retreating while they're still setting up. most of the time i can't even pull out the nidoking before they give up lol.. it's also been pretty good against mewtwo decks in my experience if you can get lucky and get 1 or 2 arbok early on

I really enjoy 2x meltan/melmetal line 2x dotrio line, fill with support and items, Turn 1 doduo line for a agressive 40-50dmg on turn 3(kills staryu vulpix mankey), or turn 2 meltan pool energy and a turn 4 Melmetal. Can freely retreat dotrio's to outplay opponent. Plays well into pikachu deck for 1shot with Melmetal and can keep pace with alot of other decks. Struggles against Mewtwo. Have about 65% win rate with 40 games played.

My favorite deck has to be Dragonite, it takes forever to set up but once you do its so fun to see the different combinations it will do against your enemies and if you set it up early enough you can even destroy Mewtwo, Char, and Pika decks but at the same time it's extremely risky and if you don't have everything you need early on you're cooked

I tried this deck at one point and was disappointed when, like you had happen at 11:55 in the video, I realized that Articuno's Paralysis doesn't stack with Hypno's sleep, it overrides it. You can see that the opponent doesn't have to do the sleep checkup flip at all.
