This Person Has a Cool Undertone; a look at surface colouring vs undertone & comparing RIGHT colours

Skin’s surface colouring and skin’s undertone and underlying quality of colouring are 2 different things. It is extremely difficult imo to look at somebody and absolutely KNOW their skin undertone. I receive comments on my posts all the time (still) where somebody is thinking a golden surface colouring automatically means warm undertone and/or a fair surface colouring automatically means cool undertone… unfortunately looking at surface colouring to identify skin undertone can totally mis-guide you.
I also find many who self colour analyze do so with - comparing colours that a professional would not use to compare and/or relying only on 1 colour comparison to make colour analysis result decisions. Which can also mis-guide you.

Your son is quite handsome, which might make it hard for some people to see he is not warm unless they do a color COMPARISON. Because he looks good in all the drapes! You have to compare the different seasons to see what sparkle happens in the winter colors.
