It's good for the grind, but in my opinion it doesn't make much sense. The ADF appeared 7 or 8 years after the normal Block 10, and apart from being newer, its armament, systems and airframe are more refined. Also I'm still not sure why they removed its air to ground ordinance, that seems a pretty artificial nerf to me... Cool addition nonetheless

Running the F-5E with the 30mm Gunpod right now, it's pretty nice and by the time it's spaded the F-16 will probably be unlocked Already 1/3 way there, from just playing today, kinda supprised at that. Anyway also looking forward to the MiG-29 but that will be a long way and several million SL for me, haha xD

One thing you must be careful about however is getting to slow, below Mach .5 you start to feel the sluggishness. I fought and ADF in my Tomcat and I put out my wings, flaps down and I got inside his circle. The F-16 is strongest at 700kmh so if you don’t wanna get slow just turn around in a two circle and get back behind them. A Hornet would be far better for doing scissors.

1:00 to answer the question of the differences of the two the M is a essentially a completely new sparrow. M stands for Mono-pulse, as it uses a mono-pulse seeker which gives it significant seeker improvements and advantages over the E/F. Think better sensitivity and accuracy of the seeker, far better countermeasure resistance, and overall just a better seeker and guidance system.

The difference between the 7F and 7M is the warhead on the M is 2 pounds heavier, so I dont see them changing it

The flight model is not near completion. It should have slightly higher thrust, it shouldn’t be g limited but instead AOA limited which should allow it to turn twice as hard to make it the 2 circle fighter it was meant to be. It needs some changes

The AIM-7F is a significantly older version then the AIM-7M, with the latter boasting a more powerful motor extending the range quite a bit, better seeker and on some aircraft, lofting flight profiles. The M is a much better missile overall, with the only real advantage of the F being the cost, but not by much. And even if it was significant, we all know how much the US military cares about cost xd This is off the top of my head, to take it with a grain of salt. No idea how this would translate to war thunder tho.

Would the F-5E be a decent grinder for the F-16? Been thinking of putting a talisman on it. I find that it's nutty in downtiers and it does get a few more of those now...which is nice. Still though, I wish it had AIM-9L's but it's only got two 9J's at 11.0. Tbh I'd love to have it at 10.7

Day 46 of asking to play the yak4 at 2.0 Start by a dive directly at q base that has another base clise to it ( 2 bases beside each other) 4 bombs for each Go straight to your base killing some ai on the way with your 7.62 Some planes will come on your back going in a straigh line with minimal evading is recommended and try to hit their engines with ur turret since they have weak engines a damaged one will lead them to crash i return to the airfield with 2 bases with 4 to 5 ai kills and 1 or 2 planes after taking off i go for bases if left but if not i will focus on ground targets cuz aa is the bain of this plane so bombing airfields is not recommended Bonus:do not forget to have smoke always on to piss the enemies 🤣
