I used to raise chickens and would swap their coup bedding out about once every two months. When I would, I would basically be shoveling what looks like composted soil and id throw it into my garden. Now, yes on a lava rock island there wouldn't be much for the feces to mix with to compost, but the bacteria in the human gut should be plenty to make it happen in a fairly short amount of time, short enough to provide nutrients to the growing plant that they found. Then again, maybe they knew it was human cause of the corn 😂🤣
