Potential topic - Random little story, might be fun to read on an episode: when I was listening to the podcast, I fell asleep and soup was screaming “WAKE UP” and all that jazz and it went through my dream but instead of waking me up, my dream just turned into your podcast. The parasitic worms are called horsehair worms and they essentially turn the cricket or host into a zombie. It forces the cricket to commit suicide by drowning itself, and then using it as an area to grow its young and stuff. They can grow quite big compared to their host, almost 3 to 4 times larger. So zombie worm basically. It controls the bug until it gets what it wants. There are a lot of parasites out there that can actually turn bugs into living zombies. A type of fungi does this with ants, and living off of it to help it give off more spores. BTW: I love this podcast
