@unknownbluebird70269 жыл бұрын
Wow you really got to appreciate the level of cinematography that Petrolicious puts into their work. I mean if you go back 10 years and look at the way car videos where shot then, and look now it's a world of difference. The style, attention to detail in locales, it just makes me proud to know that although these machines may die away, the future generation can at least view these and get a whiff of what we are all appreciate. Thank you Petrolicious for these videos, and Please if you can, get a Bugatti EB110, that forgotten gem is just too important not to feature on this channel.

when I was younger, I took for granted that cars popped, gurgled, snapped and banged, then I started to see it go away, then it was completely removed for 'eco' reasons or whatever. Now one of the most popular mods I'm seeing amongst people who care what they drive is to re add the pops and crackles of yesteryear and even one of my friends tuned turbo lag back into his car. I wish manufacturers realised that these old designs and old characteristics would totally still sell instead of this jelly mould same blandness of all modern cars (don't even get me started on the ones without engines)

As a previous owner of one of the biggest ‘widow makers’ on the planet one thing to mention is.....the old 3.0 ltr models had a 4 speed manual box and in 2nd gear you would see an indicated 96mph on the speedo. So from standstill and once 2nd gear was selected the car would just go n go n go seamlessly forward bumping down the tarmac as if you were taking off in a light aircraft. That’s my best memories and of course to drive it in the wet was a constant nightmare! 😎

The guy lives in Mariemont, I've seen him out driving around on occasion. I can't identify the specific roads, but given that he lives on the east side of town, I would agree that somewhere in Indian Hills (or even around Newtown) would make sense.

Great car and back story. I live in Florence KY and enjoyed watching the car in familiar areas around town. My father owned a 1986 930 Turbo and seeing your car reminds me of why it was the car that first made an emotional connection for me. Very tasteful upgrades which can be a challenge with older Porsches.

I've always loved the wide body 930. There's just something about those wide fenders and that massive spoiler. Those wide Fuchs just finish it all the way. Just shame it has those hideous USA bumper pads though... It should have those nice European bumpers without the pads. Oh and I know it didn't exist back then, but a 968 CS steering wheel would fit perfectly with the interior of this car :)
