I know I just said “2 to 3 times per week” for the first time on this video, but it’s been coming for the last few weeks. Standards are getting higher for stories, and I’m spending more time researching to do a better job telling them. (For reference it takes 20-30 hours for me to create a video, that is then edited by Wes and Tori for another 7-10 hours) Overall I believe the videos are improving, even if they are coming out at a slightly less frequent pace. We love making videos and have no intention of stopping anytime soon so don’t view this “downgrade” as a sign of anything bad on the horizon!!! Thank you all!!!

Man the 2nd story was wild. Talk about sleeping with the enemy. I first heard this story on Beyond Belief Fact or Fiction. Those that sleepwalk are fully capable of eating, talking, driving etc while completely asleep. I myself and my dad were sleepwalkers when younger. My uncle once caught me sleepwalking and about to leave the house. He tried to keep me safe. However I pinned him against the wall and was aware of his presence. He kept tabs on me while I walked around the neighborhood. He's former military and seen things. But said me sleepwalking and overpowering him terrified him. He likened me to a dangerous tiger. I feel for the guy in the second story. The most dangerous enemy is one within.

I feel bad for both Robert, the Detective, and his victim. Robert didn't know what was going on because he was sleepwalking. After catching so many murderers, he caught and turned himself in. He was an honest man. He might have been of continuing use to society if a way was found to stop his sleepwalking. If I were one of the cops watching over him when he was in a cell with a gun loaded with blanks, I still would have jumped 5 feet up just seeing and hearing it. The whole thing was sad.

@@PheOfTheFaeI was so interested after this video I read a medical article about it. Apparently, yes, sometimes they need to be put on benzos to prevent withdrawals. What was interesting to me is that even though it's fungus in their gut producing alcohol from carbs, and even after getting rid of that fungus with medications, a lot of patients after going on a low carb diet have really strong cravings for alcohol. Some of them go on to become actual alcoholics after going on a low carb diet. So yeah, basically you have the brain of an alcoholic even without drinking at all.

We don’t know what “mat” he was talking about either, nothing was on the floor 🤦🏼‍♀️ And then a few weeks ago he woke up standing in the bathroom and realized he peed on the mat by our sink. In the 10yrs we’ve been together, these are the only times peeing has been an issue when he sleepwalks at least 😅Usually he just raids the kitchen or just ends up in the living room.

The sad thing is that so few understand sleepwalking! I did it a few times as a mid-teen but not (as far as I know) until I was in my thirties when I had a bout of it and then several years later. What those had in common were at the times they happened, I was under a lot of stress over which I had no control. If one does not live alone, it can be a non-problem but if we live alone, we have little or no way of knowing it happened. I can remember in my fifties waking up one morning with my legs aching like I had been on a long walk. Though there was no evidence I ever left the house, I will never know for certain. My youngest son sleepwalked when he was around ten. We did not realize it until we heard him open the front door! We then installed a chain lock at the top of the door (beyond his reach) so if he tried to leave the house, we would be awakened. As those who have dealt with it know, it can be a bit scary and can be dangerous as well. The sleepwalker must have ingrown cautions to not put self into dangerous situations such as walking into traffic.

I don't know what the whole secrecy was about. I mean, if you want the death penalty, and you're willing to confess as much as it takes to get it, then why not confess to everything? What does he gain out of keeping quiet? It's not like he wanted freedom... and after confessing to multiple murders, it's not like he was trying to save any relationships. I thought it'd be even better for his rep to be the most notorious serial killer or something. Obviously I'm wrong, but if anyone can shed some light as to why, I'd appreciate it. I just don't understand why he'd be dumb to confess to the rest. Why not go out "proud" and rack up the numbers for his own twisted glory, so to speak?

Unconscious behavior (or whatever the broad term is for being mentally asleep but physically doing things) is fascinating to me. Robert is not the first case of sleep killing I've seen. I've also seen a video of someone sleep eating. If I remember the backstory correctly, the man's wife was frustrated with food being eaten and she accused her husband of eating them, and he refuted it, so she set up a camera and recorded him eating, or at least making a sandwich, while asleep.

I sleep eat. More accurately I sleep cook. One morning I got up and couldn't find my pillow. I went in the kitchen and there was a frying pan with half-eaten bacon and eggs with a fork. Thank God I've never started a fire.

@@en16ma_music You're just plain wrong. You can do a lot while sleepwalking. I lived in a multi-story house when I was a kid. My mom said I walked downstairs one night in the middle of the night, had a conversation with her, and then went back upstairs to sleep. It wasn't the only time and my dad "woke me up" several times in the morning where I was still asleep. I actually woke up later and asked him why he didn't wake me up. There's even an episode of Forensic Files that proved a man killed his wife while sleepwalking, too. It makes no sense to implicate yourself in a murder when you could have easily let it remain unsolved. Get a clue.

I hate alcohol as well; grew up in an alcoholic household as well. I detest the shit. No one needs to be able to consume a beverage that can impair one’s ability to such an extent as alcohol, and it can be bought while you take your kids to Chuck E. Cheese (beer) We’ve accepted it to be okay as a society. You cannot go to a lake without watching people drinking and swimming. None of that would be acceptable to do on cocaine or heroin “people might not understand the risk they run”. That’s a load of bullshit. Our society has made it ACCEPTABLE, not tolerable, but ACCEPTABLE and NORMAL to be impaired from alcoholic beverages. But ohhhh no, the guy down the street gets caught with two joints just in his possession, not even smoking them, and not being impaired and that guy gets “intent to distribute” (this is a true story). I had two rolled joints on me and they tried to say I was a drug dealer. I was at a bar, I was not drinking, I hadn’t even smoked ANY marijuana all day. So it’s okay for everyone to be stumbling out of the bars and to their cars. I was designated driver. I had the two joints rolled for when I got home to relax. I just forgot I had them in my bag still. I rolled them prior to going out that night. I didn’t even plan going out. Someone called and asked if I wanted to shoot some pool. I said yeah. You guys have a few beers. I’ll drive. Took three years in the courts to finally get the damn charge thrown out

As a former foster child myself I'm heart broken. That poor kid was sent to that disgusting man for protection and love, but what that poor kid got was torture. The system is broken and so many kids get abused and murdered because they get placed with sick people who only are in it for the money. Foster kids are not a source of income. Don't use them for money. They are human beings that have already been dealt a fucked up life, and they need love. Protection and someone to actually be there for them. Ive heard is many of these stories where the are kids taken away from their families because they were unsafe, just to get put in another place that is unsafe. There are some amazing foster parents out there and I thank you will all my heart for what you do. And for those that take in these already broken children and break them even more hell is waiting for you. And I pray you all get what you deserve! May that poor boy find peace. 😢

I was a foster kid in Florida for 2 years and I gotta say that there wasn't 1 good family. When I wasn't being bullies by black kids for being white I was fighting off peedos from my sister and I. I got moved to 4 separate houses because I wouldn't be a servant to these peoples desires. My sister and I were just a paycheck to these people. I am convinced that peedos work high up in foster care or else something would of been done years ago, I am now 29. I was 9 then. NO hate towards black kids cause they were all fucked up anyways in worse situations but those predators need to be dealt with no one at the offices would even listen to us. On the flip side, my older sister got into foster care one time with her ex husband. They all did their best for the boy. We all did, extended family and all. He rejected it and threw it in our faces however. This is what troubles me the most tho. There are situations such as yours and the boy that got murdered paired in similar parallel with the boy my sister fostered. Putting that together I think is what makes the foster system as a whole so fucked up. You got these self-righteous assholes who use kids as a paycheck and ruin their minds to a point that when they come to a good home like my sister and my family and I that they don't trust us and end up becoming a mentally ill adult because of it. It really hurts me in the heart hearing this but please know there are good people still out there. Least I know we country folk are 😊 may the boy find peace and may you find peace kind sir. I would be notified of a new video that HAD been posted usually within 15 minutes, watch it, go to comments and it would already be found. One day I went to my subscriptions and saw a MrBallen video appear saying 354 people watching. I selected it and it started in the middle of the story. I rewound to what I thought was the beginning but it was a Test Pattern for 2-3 minutes prior to the story. I said to myself this is my chance for GLORY. I quickly forwarded to find the beginning and watched the 21 minute video and still spaced out looking for it. I went to the comments and it had ALREADY been found 20 minutes earlier!! That's being found and posted by the time the story is done. Oh god... didn't think about that. Poor woman. I was in the hospital for ...well actually we don't know yet, in January. Half my symptoms looked like alcohol withdrawals, one being a slightly fatty liver... but my blood work came back with levels that were inconsistent with alcoholism. Over the course of 1 day & night in the ER I was rotated between 4 different docs... 3 of them CONSTANTLY badgering me about how much I drink. I'm sitting there with tremors, nausea, w/ discomfort in my chest, unable to keep food down for almost a week straight, puking over taking a sip of water or random gag coughing... trying to explain that I USED to drink quite a bit at night while gaming online with friends, but that was more than 2.5 years ago and I 'd stopped. Despite my consistent answers all but one seemed to take me seriously and I saw him early on the day prior... once. I was released next day with no answers after taking in about 4-5 bags of IV fluid and with 3 docs thinking I'm a heavy alcoholic with severe dehydration... despite not being the former. The latter was probably due to my constant throwing up.
