Allow me to console you… Last night I was watching some body language expert and I was convinced that he was German through two full videos until he mentioned something about Spanish being his first language. It definitely made more sense because I was truly surprised that his jocularity. Can you imagine a jocular German? Does that count as alliteration? Because it sounds great and I think I’m gonna name my new brew house that. It’s more welcoming than Das Fleidermaus Haus. I also had an cultural anthro teacher from Iraq that I was convinced was German for about eight weeks in a 10 week class. I don’t know if this actually consoles you or if it terrifies you like it does me. Imagine going through life thinking you’re hearing German accents everywhere. Unless you’re actually IN Germany or Austria I guess it just sounds off those alarm bells….
