Strategy. If it's a 3 lap race fill your meter all the way and press B or Y when the Red Arrow pops up. That automatically switches the whole route and can cause a major accident for a lot of the cars. You can take out about 3 or 4 cars easily.

U missed a lot man. There are red power plays, which have unique mechanic of changing the track. You did only once at the airport. These red power plays need the full bar to be activated. And they are incredibly cool. Some power plays also offer instant replay, which you missed at 14:30. It's pretty cool as well and makes take downs even more powerful. Also maybe you can do WipEout next? :D

The studio doesn’t exist anymore. This is one of the greatest arcade racers, but the ip is toast. The difficulty level when it launched on consoles was unacceptable & I think it led ultimately to its demise. Power plays have a 75% chance of succeeding on the reworked pc port. On console, I swear it’s more like a 25% chance. lool. The console version will make you throw your controller. It’s actually part of psnow so you can stream the console version if you pay for Sony’s gaming service.

I'm playing this game on PC as well as Laptop also in 2025 using Win 10. It's a fast paced game. 30 FPS feels fast in later stages of the game. The game has a good sound immersion. The game doesn't have a speedometer or map which is common in racing games.

There is also track editor to create your own tracks. Once you dominate shatter bay. You can enter the world that online but unfortunately i think the servers shut down years ago. Yeah... I just want you to play it because it fun. Im not forcing you to play next video. It your choice but happy new year
