Absolutely fantastic job, I also believe in what Magnus Walker says “ your PORSCHE is a blank canvas, make it your own “ something like that anyway 😂. I put my own stamp on all my cars and never follow the crowd accepting standard STOCK. This guy has done exactly the right thing as far as I’m concerned. BRAVO 👏

I love how people who comment this never owned a Porsche. My 944 has over 300,000 miles with no issues. Never left me stranded. I also have a 958 Cayenne S with 150k miles and ZERO issues.

Nobody does engine swaps to be unique or to impress some kid on youtube that thinks a powerful V8 is boring, because there are supras with 2000hp. Engine swaps are done for performance thats all there is to it the LS sounding good and being cheap performance are also great bonuses there is literally nothing bad about them, which is why they are popular.

Nissan RB25det Neo is a fantastic platform and I wouldn’t have chosen any other RB, not even the rb26. Reliability is better the way it’s setup. Definitely a cool swap but being in the US personally LS swap is cheaper and more reliable than having to deal with a turbo with a more narrow power band vs. V8. Excellent work.

The 944 is a very good platform for engine swaps. The engine bay is roomy and the transmission through the 968 can handle 300hp in stock configuration.

I love this build. Not really an outlaw, but the styling is great and the stance / swap does not follow the typical build “parameters” or guidelines which is refreshing when done well. Excellent engine choice, the porsche 2.5 is not great for accepting mods. I think “aero” mirrors would look great in place of the flag mirrors. I love the wheel size on this car, most 944 builds choose a wheel tire combo that’s tucked in without filling the fenders. I believe there will be a resto-mod 944 or 951 soon that will get a lot of attention.

It’s a RB25 Neo (Not RB32, it’s a newer engine, comes with more restrictions in size of throttle body and tuning but he has a GT35 turbo)

Porsche snobs hate 944's anyway. I had a mid 80's 944 and i loved the way it drove. I looked up engine swaps because there are a few nice shells around. My very first car was a 240z and I drive a 2012 Mazdaspeed now (First FWD car). I drove older BMW's up until a few years ago. I kept a manual E36 coupe, was going to get a M3 motor for it but considered doing something like this. But it drives so very well with the BMW I6.

Nightride got one to fit in a NA Miata, it's probably just a matter of fabricating stuff to mate it with the transaxle if you want to keep the original driveline. But you'd be the first one to do it with a 944 if you go through with it lmao

Ignorant comment lol. Several Porsches were designed and came from the factory with engines and transmissions borrowed from other manufacturers. The 924 used an Audi engine for example and the 914 used a VW Boxer engine. XD what makes a Porsche a Porsche is the refinement of design and attention to build quality.
