Wow, that thing took a beating. And hardly anything broke, even in cold weather. I have, and have had, a lot of different scale RC’s over the years. From 1/5 scale, down to my 1/36 scale Team Losi micro collection from 2007-2008. 😎 But 1/10 scale has always really been my wheelhouse. Ever since I became an RC hobbyist as a kid in the 80’s. So although I’ll admit, RTR’s have spoiled me in recent years 😂 this may be a kit I need to grab before summer. 🤩 Being OCD, I’ll keep it set up as 2s. 🤷🏻‍♂️😂 It’ll still be fun enough for me. And I’ll bet in warmer weather that plastic will flex much better, and possibly be even stronger 💪 Great video, Mark. I like this thing.

I have the original MT410. I've had it for almost 2 years now. In that time, only thing that has broke, is the 3 bodies. And they were reinforced with drywall tape and shoe-goo.

Always wondered how the vxl would hold up since u never did a follow up on the sct410.3 with vxl. I have the 410.3 short course I might try a vxl 3s system I have laying around. Any idea of your top speed mark?

Don't lol worst RTR powersytem ever. Unless you only want to run 2's. On 3's it overhears constantly. It's really only an 80amp esc. You should definetly run a 120amp esc even if you only run 3's and not 4's. I absolutley hate the vxl setups. The small 3mm motor shafts bend and snap very easily. I've broke 2 motors and friend 2 esc's. Since I switched to the hobbywing max 10 sct 120amp esc and a 2700kv 3665 motor for 4's all my problems are gone!

Im thinking of hw max10 140a. With a 4000kv sensored. . Mainly a 2s race truck, but u think i can run it 3s occasionally just for speed runs? 17t pinion I currently have an old dynamite fuze 120a esc with a 3500kv sensorless.

Im sad they discontinued the old 410. looks great and I hoped to get one, but I gotta say the 2.0 looks great in its own way. just wish they’d make a 1:8 scale MT with the durability of the 410’s. That’d be the ultimate basher.

To me the truck is more performance oriented so would be good at tricks and ramps and of course monster truck racing. It can do skate parks but more at home in the dirt. I liked the video. It let me know its capabilities. Definitely had attention to detail when creating the product.

ECX P/N 232028 is a Mod1 pitch for 3mm motor shaft. Comes with a 9 and 12 tooth pinion.

I have the MT410 2.0. The Arrma Typhon Truggyfied is the strongest basher. The MT is TOUGH but the Truggyfied typhon is beefy because it has short stocky arms. You put the mt tires on it. You should TRY ONE. yOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.

I mean it looks like a vxl 2400kv not the 3500kv. Also the 3500kv has a 1/8” bore which is a 3.175mm.

LOL, what are the odds, just today on r/rccars, somebody was asking about channels that don't promote abusing your cars at a skatepark like KT does. Something about their kids going out and trying to do those tricks and not really being able to afford to bash their cars like that. And I saw your name mentioned. Personally, I understand its a durability test and know the consequences of sending it like that. But I can see where parents might be concerned. That said, kids are probably going to send it big like that anyway.

But I see the point, you give your kid a $$$ RC they've been begging for all year and it gets sent into the stratosphere and no longer has a functioning RC car without costly repairs the parent may not want to do. Of course that's an exercise in parenting and consequences and all that. But, again, not here to judge that one way or the other.

Pretty average honestly 😅 Plenty of RTR trucks on the market now can handle skate park bashing without even minor breaks. Softer plastic for the bumpers would be a good start and alloy for the battery tray wouldnt hurt. The dog bones popping out from excessive droop could have been avoided with longer cups/dog bones. like you, i'd want it jacked all the way up too. It is a monster truck after all. Dont get me wrong, i like tekno, have plenty of their hop ups on most of my bashers but this one is a miss for me.
