Nice video showing different males of lithium ion batteries. I bought Renegy 200ah battery for my build, I got it 3 weeks ago and each cell has 3.3v and has 4 cells so total is 13.2v I noticed yours was slightly less. The renegy battery charges from empty to full in 2 hours which is amazing. I've had fridge freezer running and max fan all day and night, as well as lights and chargers for phones and drone battery, from 100% it was 80% the next day. This battery is a perfect leasure battery that I can honestly say we will never run out of juice. When I put my solor panels on it will be a real off grid van for sure.

Great video bud, although I think the Battery will jump as the strap goes under the battery and is secured on top of the wood, which will allow upwards movement. I may be wrong.

When connecting your battery always red first then black ,,and when disconnecting black first then red

When connecting the battery always connect the negative terminal last just in case you accidently short circuit the positive terminal

Just make sure you charge your battery up and reset the smart shunt. The smart shunt reads as 100% with whatever charge the battery was when you first hook it up.

Love your vids dude but one thing (that i havent seen mentioned) you should have a main battery fuse AS CLOSE AS PHYSICALLY POSSIBLE to the battery terminal. There is a lot of power there and imagine if you were to get a short circuit in the cable between the battery positive and your main fuse...

Hi Shawn. You need to set your shunt and solar regulators up with the victron smart app. They don’t work correctly straight out of the box. This is why your solar regulator went straight to float and your battery was at 100% when you first powered up. Happy to help out with settings if you need it.

AGM batteries weight about 26kg for a 100AH not 130KG

It’s 130lb for 200ah or 60kg still 3 times heavier than the Lithium

Yep, 26kg per 100ah and my AGM's have a 4 year warranty, fit and forget. Both types have their advantages but I think the bias is understandable. I'll go for Lithium next time just for weight saving, the AGM's have been great for 18 months and only show 7 cycles in that time due to my higher SOC floor settings.

Iv been using lifepo4 batteries for years, still got all it's capacity. Make sure you "top charge" every now and then. These can take days to recharge as the voltage difference is a couple of volts from 100% to 50% capacity. This battery is going to be with you for a looooooooong time. Winter periods take the battery out and store indoors. They don't like the cold at all.

My Dad is an 87 year old ex miner , despite a bit of arthritis he still walks a couple of miles every day with a stick . Sid and my dad’s generation as you say just get on with it . A classic was when my dad went to see a consultant about a hip replacement, ‘ why do you need a hip op sir? ‘ my Dad told him he couldn’t get his feet up in the sink to wash them , the consultant said neither could he , and he was only 50! 😂
