Hey mate, Dave here (yes one of the kids has hijacked my account again). Thanks for featuring my favourite, beautiful girl in your video: Zephora the German Shepherd (and Rhondda who is pretty good as well). You and the boys are welcome back any time, hopefully I can come with you guys and fulfil my normal rockhounding role of pack mule. A big thanks as well to everyone who has helped with Will. It really has been overwhelming that this international family of rockhounds have been so generous and supportive. We are finally making some progress with him which is a huge relief. Great video as always! The blonde is hot... she single?

I can finish my comments now. Watched with difficulty, my windows are broken and i'm using an old pair that I have to keep moving or I get a headache. Amazing, truely amazing finds, no Sarcasm in this comment. You all looked like you had so much fun, i'm happy for you all. The finds you made were beautiful, the jaspers are totally unique and each type is only found in one area, so when it's gone, it's gone, what you have will easily make high grade specimen and some I saw will have a high, very high retail value, but that is not what it's about, ultimately the discovery, something i've never had the pleasure of. Rhondda, i'm so glad you had such a wonderful relaxed day, you deserve it, I wish I could have been there with you, bless you. Boys, I won't make this a long speech, Thank you, thank you for being you and taking rhondda away from her stressful situation for a well earned and deserved break and a fun, exciting time, ( don't forget the pre arranged fee for this comment). Cut carefully and cut well, for the Rocks that you cut, you could easily sell. The dull one, with the visible lines, should be left there for another to find. There were many, you will cut for yourself, that are worthy of being top shelf. Great video, thank you all, Love and respect. Symon.

See, now Symon, what a beautiful comment mate. You never disappoint man. You have a wit unmatched and a heart even more so. And whichever you use in one particular comment is a gift I look forward to reading my brother. I think with these, I will be attending the lapidary club. If all goes to plan. I just would love to get a good opinion on the rough, some direction on the cuts, and of course, the use of a saw that is worthy 😉 as you so eloquently said, “cut carefully and cut well”... sending love brother! Thank you as always for being a genuine legend Symon. Thank you mate.

@@Rookie_Rockounding Well, I Thank you good sir, Sometimes it's better having many heads, (unless you are a teenager) the combined experience and practical knowledge is unmeasurable, one suggests a good idea then another points out a pitfall, another suggestion followed by plenty of confirmation and the reason why. Working blind, not knowing what is under the skin, that's a risk factor, mid cut or end, I always out for end simply because if you discover real beauty inside you can use the flat as a datum for the base, central cut and five degrees off both flats and you have the face looking up showing off all it's beauty. But, nothing extra special inside and you still have a datum for making slab cuts, that seems like pretty much all of my work in the last two years, but hey it's still nice, just won't get me a new house, well maybe the lock, it's a start anyway so by the time i'm 278 years old I should have enough money for a shed. Rookie, nah, creek sweeper, Yep. To all of you beautiful rock loving people, be safe in these unusual times and remember, if nothing changes it remains the same, now off you all go, spread out in a bunch and hunt those Rocks. We need a motto, latin thing like Rockus findus lovus muchus, or Houndus rockus creekus et tracus lovus. Or perhaps not.

Oh man Josh I know! The first time I took Benny hounding, he asked what I was doing on the weekend... and sheepishly I said, “oh just doing some creek walking and hiking... and looking for rocks...” I legitimately thought he would laugh at me straight away. But he asked if he could come along... haha! I thought he would be so board and think I was a weirdo, but he was hooked! I showed him what to look for and he was off and hounding and he honestly, always finds the best rocks of the day now haha! But I am so so blessed to have these guys and gal as my friends. The excitement when each other finds a rock is contagious, and I’m so grateful for their friendship. Thanks for you comment mate, I really hope you can get one of your friends hooked, you never know who else could be a silent rock nerd waiting to be discovered. 😉

@@Rookie_Rockounding I worked at the county road commission one summer during college. One day, they didn't have much for the three college kids who were working there to do, so they sent us out with a pick up truck of asphalt to fill some holes. The tailgate was down and they dumped a scoop from the loader on the back of the truck and the tailgate. Most of the weight was behind the back wheels so the front wheels were almost off the ground. It was like driving a boat. There was a fairly long hesitation between turning the steering wheel and the truck actually turning. Sounds like you were almost in the same situation.

I will say this with certainty...the rocks on Rhondda's road remind SO MUCH of what I find in and around Bloody Basin, here in Arizona. Look up Bloody Basin Plume Agate. Phenomenal stones. Radiolarite is usually just called Red & Yellow Jasper hereabouts. I find it all mingled and occurring together, clouds of color, pockets of translucence, whitish fortification bands... But those Rhondda stones! That shocking red and yellow in bursts and swirls with bands of Quartz with druse. Almost looks like an aerial view of Jupiter's weather or something. What a treat that you get to drag a wagon around for this location. SO many stones. If I had that one Benny stone I'd carve a skull from it. Tell Rhondda we're all wishing the best for Will. Thanks for this awesome video, Jesse.

I hope you get well soon. Texas was almost all under water during what they call the Cretaceous Period. I find all kinds of rocks with fossils in them. I have 2 they call fossiliferous. They are on beautiful agate type rock and all the little shells look like flowers the way they are laid out. I have other fossils from the Eocene which is newer than Cretaceous. They are a layered type with either red clay or yellow mud stone/ and Hematite. Hematite is an iron oxide that can be found in the main three rock groups. It can be made in to beautiful jewelry. It is everywhere on the property I live on. I live way out in the country. The nearest town is a tiny community. So I have found many beautiful flints, jasper, and chert. The rocks go through a rock crusher. So I don't find any large rocks like y'all do. I practically drool over the outstanding beauties you find. Thank you for sharing your beautiful rocks.

15 seconds in and my heart lit up like fireworks on the 4th of July! Jesse...THIS IS THE BEST EVER!!! I'm now on my third time watching this and every time is better and better. It's so great to see you all together! And to see our sista having a day she needed so dearly. What an exciting day! I was talking with her right before you guys got there that day. I tried to send a short voicey to her to play for you all but not sure I sent it in time haha but yeah...i was so happy she was feeling better and didn't miss this epic day. Rhon has shown me pics of this material over time and I truly believe it's a plume of some sorts...just breathtaking really. And I cannot believe how big the pieces you all are finding are! I'm so curious what you may find if you dig a little deeper. I don't think anyone has ever hounded there besides Rhon...i imagine you could fill many wagons. I'm surprised that one didn't end up with 4 flat tires! Haha😄 so much greatness. Especially Benny's prize boulder....the candy red in that!🤤 yum yum gimme some! But Pauly's coprolite is a million years too young to be licking quite yet lol🤢😆 but that had me laughing pretty good haha Once again bro...you've made my day a lot better and brought some light into my world. It is a delight to see all of you and I cannot wait for part 2... Hoping the gunman got apprehended! That had to of had your hearts pumping. What a trip! Take care my brotha and you'll be hearing from me soon. Sending you a quick DM... You are the best! Send my love to the Aussie Posse and to the family🤗❤ And take care! Hope the move goes smooth! Cheers🐺🐾

Heyyyyyyyyyyy Mar!!!!! Sorry for the late reply, in the midst of moving house madness 😳😖 plus working etc so I’m “lose your mind” Busy haha! Havent l’ost it yet hahah! Thank you for your beautiful comment sista! It honestly was just so rad to have the three of them together hounding. I honestly sat back a few times and just took it all in. If only the whole OG Rookie Crew were able to all get together. Now that’s a dream come true! I hope you have a rad week ahead Marlaina, say g’day to Josh and the kids and I’ll talk soon. Sending mega love from my fam to yours!

Best start to my Saturday ❤ just wow 😍 some pet wood is on my list for things to find, but I did just find a nice Lepidodendron root 😁. Does the iron stone have opal in that area? Thanks for another awesome video Jesse. Canni wait for the next one. 🏴

Heyyyyyy Anna! I reckon lepidodendron root would be classed as pet wood wouldn’t it? I don’t know, but I just looked it up and it’s beautiful stuff! Have a great weekend Anna!
