INPUT6 is set in alternative reality inspired by our world in the early 1990s. Search through the abandoned factory owned by TECH-AID ROBOTICS, an infamous company known for its autonomous, interactive, humanoid robots designed supposedly to help with everyday activities. Find hidden remotes that control the robots, discover the company’s past and uncover all the events that led to its collapse. Pay attention to your surroundings, there is something else in the factory besides you...
INPUT6 is a first-person, short, fast-paced horror game.
One of the game's main mechanics is switching between the 'inputs' - the game takes place simultaneously in separate segments of the company's facility, which you can switch between at any time. Switching can also protect you from a malfunctioning robot. After the robot enters your field of view, you only have a brief moment to react - you must switch the input to avoid getting blocked from moving around the current segment of the factory.
Your main task in a single playthrough is to find all 5 remote controls, which appear in different places each time you start the game (one for every separate section of the facility). You can also find items containing information that may help you unravel the company's mysterious history and uncover what led to its collapse. However, you need to hurry - you have a limited amount of time.
Sometimes during the gameplay a small window with a mini-game might pop up. If you lose the mini-game one of the negative effects will temporarily make the game a bit more difficult.
You are also able to check the archives where you can take a closer look at the items you found during the main part of the game. Collect all of them and maybe you will be able to figure out what led to the company's collapse.

So my guess is William sent a security signal that turned the robot(s) hostile specifically to cause the evacuation of the building, so it can be blown up without any casualties.

Great video. I think we -- the player -- was actually the "bad guy". We were playing different maids who were collecting the remotes to trigger the explosions, probably hacked by the brothers, which was why there were so many signal interferences. The maid that was chasing us was one that hadn't been taken control of and was trying to stop the building from exploding. That's my theory :)

@@CJUGames Thank goodness that The Creators made text for those audio files in the database because I can barely understand what The Voices are saying it’s extremely garbled the sound maybe that was done on purpose to show how much everything was malfunctioning with the robots.

Did anyone do an "Oooooooo!" count on this one? 😆 Tense game. I would have found it frustrating to play at times. Kudos for the 100% completion, Chris. I wouldn't have done it, and without all the lore the game would have felt very empty to me. It's a shame the lore wasn't more seamlessly integrated into the game (i.e., easier to find and easier/safer to access). That would have made the game more cohesive, coherent, and playable in one go. It seems to me that William and Christopher--"together again"--conspired to ruin Bradley Loocre who had screwed them both. I'm confused about exactly how they did it. Was it by sabotaging MAIDAI's OS? By blowing the hell out of everything? Some combination of both? Anyway, thanks for persevering with this one, Chris. Your gameplay and commentary made it fun.

Just based on what I see im assuming the back of the picture says "Together Again" and for the date its Sept 93 only because the newspaper article has what looks like the cropped version of the same picture(without Mr. Loocre) and is from Sept 10th, 1993.

So. It seems, based on what i'm watching that the Player takes control of one of several "Security" bots and pilots them around looking for the remotes. I wonder if the Maid can sense the activation and that's why she hunts you down on whichever camera you are watching, but never attacks inactive cameras.

Wow, strangely this struck me as the "love child" of FNAF, Observation Duty, and... Hangman, of all things😄, with a little bit of Backrooms for spice. It's admirably stressful, though part of that was trying to figure out what the 'goal' was at any given moment (especially with the mini-games). I really did like how confusing walking around a big empty factory was, just like it really would be. I also liked the complexity of many elements -- Bartosz Guzewicz wrote a _whole manual_ for MAIDAI! A little unfortunate that there 'had to be' a significant play gap between the story in the Archives and the immediacy of the main Hide and Seek game; why were there bombs? but I can't think of a better integration design than how it was done. All in all, kudos to Bartosz Guzewicz😃 Good job! Thanks for playing and sharing, CJU! And Happy New Year (since I didn't say it before 😉).

I'm curious as to why they included a hostile mode in a robot that was supposed to function primarily as a domestic aid. Was she supposed be a maid by day and security guard by night?

They have made this story really well. Very tense and scary road to find every secret but it gives makes even bigger challenge with every new try. And the devs had such strong polish accents I even don't remember last time I heard such hard version of it when speaking english. ;)

They used to call that feathered hairstyle the "Farrah" after Farrah Fawcett, one of the original cast members of "Charlie's Angels". Everyone wanted that hair, even the guys. But, unisex was a thing back then. ✌ Interesting design choice for a retro styled game. I do wish the audio recordings were clearer though. There's making a game tense to fit an era, then there's just tedious.

The only time they didn't put the audio filter you could distinctly hear the voice actors had a really heavy Eastern European/Russian accent, and I genuinely wonder if they used the freaking filter to cover that up.
