This is the one RK3588S to be a potentially direct competition to the Orange Pi 5 in terms of price/performance. The option of using an M.2 drive makes it particularly attractive. Hey taki udon another great SBC that works great with android is the raspberry pi 4. I use mine with android 13 custom built by konstakang. It works great with official touchscreen for raspberry pi. Emulation works great on and I tested from SNES to GameCube. I haven't tested ps2 yet and GameCube is a little choppy. I get decent speeds by over clocking the CPU and GPU. The CPU is set to 2.0 GHz and the GPU is set to 750. I use it everyday to play games and watch videos. I use active cooling with heat sinks for maximum performance and it never over heats at all. Overall the raspberry pi is another great gaming SBC next to the asrock and other SBCs.

Ps3 & ps4 emulation is a dream that will take time, I have the original ps3 because the black ops servers are still up, plays better then on a ps3 emulator, mind you I have a asus rtx2080ti my gpu isn’t the problem I also have a titanium 1000w power supply so it’s not about power either the emulator is just new & the reason why I emulate this game or even play on the ps3 is because the console version has split screen pc doesn’t, I also recently learned I can use these old consoles & new ones as a pc & I’m fully intending of doing so once I swap out all the hard drives of these devices & put a sdd with more storage im going to make a dual boot rig for each one so I can still use original console software & use it as a pc, I’ve also jailbroken the Nintendo switch at best it can play some game cube games but not many, it can play most n64 & wii games & below anything from that basically is playable ps1 simulation is also playable too some games might be laggy, for the Nintendo switch I use it to link my pc screen to the switch because the switch has a nvdia processor although you’ll need fast af wifi at least 1 Gig of constant flow & really good ping if not you’re out of luck with that option, overall don’t find a single use for the Nintendo switch other then emulation for old games on it, I also have a jailbroken psvita which I can screen share with the ps3 but a bit weird to set up Ik the ps4 is better in screen sharing with the psvita so I’ve only used it on that, I have the original Xbox but need to buy some controllers & a hard drive mod to expand the storage to install all the games & also mod it to play online, there’s a service that runs the game servers if you mod the Xbox I also need to buy ps2 controllers for my ps2 I have the cables it boots up & is visual so is the original Xbox i also need to mod the ps2 & expand its storage to also install all the games on it, I do have all the original copy’s of old games but not the consoles I’m cuban so when I was little boy I would always give it to somebody in cuba because they have nothing over there I would only do so whenever I had the newest console, I used to own a bunch of game boys from the advanced to the little square one & the long upward ones that accept bigger cartridges supposedly but you can still put them in, in any because they all fit in the same slot it would just stick out more the only thing I have left of part of that connection is a original game boy silver not used in years just occasionally turning it on & off I also have the original psp but I need to buy a battery & sd card to download all the games & jailbreak, I also have a wii (black) I need a 32gb sd card for that one to also jailbreak & download games on all I need to do for my collection is to find two good game cubes, fix the ps4 after the hdmi repair I did on it I accidentally took two diodes off of the mother near the hdmi port where you see the pins from the back of the hdmi that has to be soldered it doesn’t turn on now but Ik it’s a simple fix after that I need to jailbreak it, put a better storage on it & turn it into a pc/console overall been having fun tinkering with all this stuff

You also don’t have to only use this “router” as just a emulator you can partition the storage & use it for both another thing you can get any pc to emulate & also become a router meaning you can make a little custom computer & use it as a dedicated router with pfsense or the other brand

Do you have the screen that I have with the adapter, or are you talking about the R6C? If you are talking about the adapter that came with my screen, this is the process that I used to pair the controllers: 1. Hold down the top button on the Joycon USB adapter until it starts to blink. 2. Press the pairing button on the left Joycon and wait until the adapter pairs. 3. After the left controller is paired, hold down the inner start and select buttons on the controller to put the USB adapter back into pairing mode. 4. Press the pairing button on the right Joycon and wait until the adapter pairs. The adapter transforms the two Joycons into an Xbox controller. Using regular Bluetooth directly never worked for me because both controllers wouldn't connect at the same time.

@aaronrandolph2530 Жыл бұрын
@@TakiUdon They appear to have changed that - I have been trying for some time to install the Android 12 image to both a 512GB SD card and a 32GB SD card, and in both cases, I only have 8GB of system memory available. I've been trying to get a partition app to expand the filesystem, but every one requires root access and they all say my Android is not rooted. Resolving this has been remarkably frustrating as half the googling results in partitioning for Windows, and the other half assume I'm using a phone or tablet with a home, power, and volume buttons. Starting to think I made a mistake getting the one without an eMMc - if you see this, did you have any trouble getting the filesystem to see the whole eMMc space, and if so, how did you resolve it?
@aaronrandolph2530 Жыл бұрын
Never mind - it appears I shouldn't have gotten the eMMc-less version of the NanoPi, as I can't find a single way to fix the 8GB problem without rooting the device, and I could probably figure out how to do that, but I'm honestly exhausted of fighting with this thing. When I bought it, I figured I could skip the eMMc because I already had a much bigger SD card - but that was clearly a mistake. If anyone wants to install Android to this board, take my advice and get the eMMc, and I'd probably install it the same way Taki did, just in case.

Seems like a lot of work to get the same functionality as an $120 tablet. You quoted the board at $80, but the wireless screen(prices vary), the case ($15), the time taken to put it all together and diagnose seems like a headache when you can spent the same amount and have 90% of the leg work done for you.
