I’m honestly even more excited about the moments that didn’t happen in the actual campaign. Spoiler, though I’ll try to avoid too many specifics… There was a moment in the campaign (that we will definitely reach in this season) when Percy’s soul 100% was lost and being consumed by a demon, and the whole thing was resolved in literal seconds with a single spell, not even a roll needed for it to work. I am so happy to see this trip to Hell, and to see Percy conspicuously absent from scenes there, because it means they’re probably expanding on the huge lost opportunity for drama.

In season 2 they killed Umbrasyl, the acid dragon. Remaining is Thordak the fire dragon, Vorugal the ice dragon, and Raishan the poison dragon (who proposed an alliance against Thordak).

HECK yes! I looked for your reaction as soon as I saw trailer had dropped. The hype is REAL. Oh my god this season is going to HURT. Context free, but... Glintshore. Oh gods. I kind of hate that I know the show well enough to catch some of the things they're probably including, but also, SO excited. A few changes are already apparent, but I think I can see how they're going to combine some things and rework some others, and if I'm right then I like the shape of it. That music is awesome. Gonna need a full track release. Love that Adam is caught up :D Come and yell about everything in the Beacon discord with us! At this point I just assume the CR folk get fewer long rests than Bell's Hells do. Sleep is something that happens to other people.

I don't know if it's been brought to your attention yet but Thordak will still be voiced by Lance Reddick in Season 3 as Sam Riegel (the voice of Scanlan) confirmed the other day that he did record all of his lines before he passed last year.

Very likely to end the season. Ive seen some people estimate they will drawn out the Conclave into the 4th season but I really hope it dosent! Such a strong finish to the arc should be a season finale

SPOILERS for Campaign 1: I hope not, it feels very rushed. It could happen but I don't want it to. Personally I'm hoping Vax and Keyleth attacking Raishan and then everyone getting meteor swarmed into the dirt with Raishan absconding with Thordak's corpse is the cliffhanger then immediately they kick off season 4 with Opash's island, the nat 20 of love with Allura and Kima, feeblemind, and then straight into Bards lament, which would be a perfect third episode gut punch ala the sunken tomb. Oh no?! what do we do? Boom we meet Tary, water aramente trials, going to confront Tary's dad, some other stuff they shuffled around, some set up for Vecna, etc.

Spoilers for Campaign 1: And I didn't see any hint of lament in the trailer, you'd think they would chuck a tiny peek just to torture people who watched the campaign lol. I see the nine hells (smushed together with The city of Brass), I see glintshore, I see J'mon, I see the One time in all 3 campaigns they actually made a plan and stuck to it with Vorugal, I don't see bards lament at all. That could be on purpose, maybe they don't want even us eagle eyes og's to know what's coming, but idk. I hope they take the time to have his mental state devolve over the course of season 3. I hope he goes looking for suude in Marquet, I hope he isolates himself from his friends when they ask if he's ok, I want him to be worried about his daughter. I don't want them to just rush it and go! Hey look, Bard's lament! Be Sad! The party wasn't as together as you thought! (Because that's not really what happened, they need to show Scanlan's mental health deteriorating first).

Spoilers for what happens in the actual campaign and what might happen in the new season. I don't think I'll be ready to see the adaptation of the Bard's Lament. I'm worried it's gonna change, and it'll be less impactful, like the "your soul is forfeit" line in season 1. I still personally feel that that line from Percy and that scene in general was done much better in the campaign than the animated show. Might just be me, though.

They're merging City of Brass w/ going to the Hells (and moving it up) and they're going to do it to save someone's soul that they saved more easily in the live show.
