#1 in Elden Ring imo! Radahn may be the most memorable "new" addition to the FromSoft boss pantheon, but Placidusax is flashy, intense (phase 2 teleports), relatively challenging, has a big moveset, looks epic, GORGEOUS arena, and just feels so "next level" imo. I fucking love it, and he's probably my favourite FromSoft dragon - certainly top 3!

It's the best dragon/big boss. But it's still a big boss with camera problems and view point limitations. Dark Eater Midir and the final boss from Elden Ring were the only ones to fix that issue of giant bosses.

It's a fun fight but his ungodly health and lack of attack verity makes it kinda boring the more you fight him, it has other issues too like the stun locking fire breath consistently flying away in phase 2 sometimes in succession some janky hitboxs etc... If you want to fight a true dragon you should play ds3 it has the most badass dragon boss in gaming history

Pretty sure the lore said Godfrey fought it one on one and here we see the dragon minus three heads, a tail and on its last legs. I wish we could fight these bosses in their prime sometimes but Fromsoft keeps giving us sloppy seconds.

this fight is the perfect example of you coming into a world that is way past its prime. other examples would be fortisax, malenia, fire giant, renalla and radahn. fortisax got completely corrupted by deathblight, fire giant is the last of a proud race and he himself is greatly wounded with a broken patched up leg to boot, malenia is pretty much a walking rotting corpse when you find her (and she still fucks you up), radahn has gone completely crazy due to the rot in his body (so you don't fight him at his best either) and lastly renalla got so mentally fucked up because of her husband leaving her that she basically went insane too. The only four that are still somewhat up and kicking normally are mogh, morgott amd godfrey. (tho godfrey even fights you with a broken axe) and rykard who doesn't even have his own body anymore. and placidusax literally the first elden lord ever in the lands between has 3 of its 5 heads missing and has battle wounds all over his body.

For some tips in the future, Bloodhounds finese ash of war is really powerful, but is very inefficient with stamina use. Using high HP pool targets will put you at a bad position where you can't dodge by having 0 stamina. Try to keep an eye on your green bar.

14:30 - Speaking of tails, in Dark Souls I at least, you CAN cut dragon's/bosses' tails (just attacking them there), and they WILL give you unique legendary weapons. The cut tail is probably a reference to that (plus, you can get a sword from its remembrance that looks like it was obtained thay way. I miss that feature hah). Also, yeah, the model of Placidusax (or as his buds call him, Phlacidsex) has 5 heads, and you can see the necks and stumps in-game, but also, in the medallion that depicts it, it appears with 4. Furthermore, it has a male and a female head (modeled different) and probably fought with Godfrey in its prime, or close, and lost them there (plus it's tail). Marika, the demigods and such seemingly tried to erase the dragon's history from the "records", since Godfrey is called the first Elden Lord, while Phlacidsex was clearly Elden Lord before. Inhabitants now cast aside/slave/kill others with bestial features (maybe partly because of that?), but we can see that, before, they were holy/reverenced, and seen as closer to the previous version of the Order/Elden Ring (crucible knights, misbegotten, omens). A result form Marika's reform of the ER/Golden Order, I guess. Sorry, one thing made me remember another, probably inaccurately, and started rambling 😅 ----- "Mr Platypus" lol Great fight, congrats!

love the video again as per usual bro :D A bit of advise about the next games to play: bloodborne + the souls games have the same combat mechanics as elden ring so I'd reccomend playing them first. The sekiro combat system is almost completely different to the other two (and playing sekiro likes a souls game will not be enjoyable lol..). So I'd play sekiro after you play the souls +bloodborne games you want to play, as flipping between one and another in a short time period is not enjoyabe. Or maybe you feel up to the challenge :D looking forward to it

I sadly defeated this Guy on my second try, his second phase was terrifying but i loved to fight him. I may have been overlvld at this point. Was lvl 150 when i finised the game, didnt really farm, or lose souls. I think 2x 20k was the most i lost. The unfair advantages of a souls veteran...

So interesting story here, somehow the grace for the dragon lord appeared in my map and being confused I decided to go see if it would just get me closer to the fight… turns out as soon as I got there the boss spawns and I am now trapped there respawning right under him until I beat him 🤣 I had no other choice at that point

go see the merchant at the morne rampart, and buy lots of kukri knives. they have a great range, do decent damage and also lay bleed on :) great for situations such as the bitey boomerang dude. :) Ive even taken down bosses with them, amazing things. Dude... masterclass fight though.. --bows--

Good thing you can always go to the roundtable hold to fias room and edit your character to remove the burn marks (if you want mati) 😆 Speaking of fia, have you finish her quest line? Most of the quest lines are for options in the end for you to decided what to use to mend the elden ring, but I think I know which ending you're gonna go for 😆. Anyways, thanks for another great fight bro! Placid is one of my favorite optional boss fights in the game.

@@matiasgago Hmm well you can always turn off the option on the Playstation that auto uploads your saved data to the cloud and after defeating the last boss (Elden Beast) you can manually upload the saved data, then watch one ending, when the credits roll get out of the game then download the saved data and you can watch another ending. That's what I did 😆, but so far I think you will be able to chose from 2 or 3 different endings so you'll be missing like another 2 or 3. But Rannis ending is like the most original of them all so if you want to go with that one, do it 😁.

Loved this video my guy! Once you finish Elden Ring I highly recommend doing a playthrough of Dark Souls 3, the souls series has a lot of passive story telling so you don't really have to worry about spoilers or anything like that. It's the most similar gameplay-wise to Elden Ring and I think you'd love it!

OK, there are a couple of things I want to mention. First you should be at +12 on your flasks. You are losing out on the amount of HP/FP you gain when you use one. Second, you sounded like Beavis and Butthead when you were yelling: "Fire! Fire! Fire!"
