Just think about how "good guys" the stellar craft are, for a moment, see most of the time when you destroy civilizations in Stellaris there's at least some plausibility of an archeological record to be left behind even when you simply destroy the planets the debris would be left in the star's orbit, with these things, not only are you converting the planets and moons into ships, but the star as well, effectively removing the last trace of them from existence outside your own records.

Fun fact! (if I recall correctly) the stellar systemcraft has the skull-thing because its fleet power overflows... twice. It goes to the max 32bit integer limit (should be 2,147,483,647, again IIRC), then overflows to -2,147,483,648, goes back up to 2,147,483,647 and then some. It ought to be in the billions of fleet power which is plain ridiculous :D

@Smertyuk3 жыл бұрын
You can build megastructures that print moons and planets at no influence cost, just need to destroy some asteroids / moons / planets for mass. You can also disable the influence upkeep in the settings at the start of a playthough. In my last one i had 8 planetcrafts and i've run out of Culture-themed names for them that i could remember. The planetcraft have unique modules that can be fitted to them, that make them even more powerful, really need to install a UI-overhaul, might even be worth it for this playthrough. The devs of the mod keep a good google doc about all the structures and things if you want to learn from that rather than building.

I rarely like doing so, but with gigastructures I've found the best playthrough is alloy rush into early empire building. I just want to say your Stellaris videos are my favorite for the game. Easily digestible and always entertaining. One thing you can do with the massive ships that have too many weapon things to fit is use the "fill empty" to fill all the empty slots of a certain type. It allows you to quickly fill slots with what you want, since you can remove components more easily than placing them with all the clipping and overlapping. You can also use afterburners instead of shield capacitors for the speediest of planets and systems since they don't really need the extra shielding in most cases.

It really helps verse the gigastructure crisises
