minor spoiler about cousin thing: The head family of Kitahara family doesn't have succesor for the family business(Chisa mother is the only child they have) so instead they adopted one of their employee(Iori's father) to become the head of family. Technically they are cousin but they don't have any blood-related issues if they want to married.

Japanese always have a work around for inheritance issue, my region just shut down the establishment or sold it off when there is no heir to take up the mantle, even if there is a man in the family line.

As an added note for the cousin thing. The guy voicing iori(MC) is the younger brother of the girl voicing nanaka(Older cousin).

This show came out right when I started as a freshman in college. Pretty accurate, I'd say. Right down to the drinking and my seniors, good times (shudders).

90% abv on the first sip tastes like nothing but burns, it's spicy all the way down the throat. Then I learned that it should be mixed with something else. While writing this I remember it was an Everclear we had.
