It’s not a boring subject Brother. I believe everyone can relate to it. Looking at your background i was somehow expecting you will talk about something minimalism 😅 but yeah focusing on the important tasks or focusing in what is important in life are some ideas that are touched in minimalism. Wonderful advice. I generally have daily to do lists, it makes everything better. I give some points to the elements for their priorities. At the end of the day I score my day. Sometimes I just do things because they are on my list and they have points. When I leave preparing lists, everything goes out of hands. I become more lazy, less productive, more depressive (or less happy). It effects not just Dunya but Akhira as well. Happy to hear that you will be in Turkey inshaallah. May Allah bless you and all Muslims. May Allah give us all clear minds.

You know what, don't think that this video was boring. Commentary On Kitab At-Tawheed By Shaykh Ibn Al-Uthaymeen (The book of Islamic monotheism, which contradicts the Trinity and acts of worship directed to other than God. One of the most important books of the Islamic faith)

Amazing reminder and it does tie back to a deep subject in islam which is Tawakul on Allah . Some scholars are of the opinion of having tawakul on Allah but taking taking the steps towards making the cause that will produce the end goal since Allah is the causer of causes, therefore doing the work then having tawakul is following the sunnah of Allah , verses such as Alanfal:60 and Al-imran:159 back this opinion. A minority of scholars or thinkers say the best tawakul is the full tawakul where you entorely rely on Allah like not taking medicine when steuck by diseas because it js allah who heals , it might soind strange but its not an opinion to be taken lightly or easily dismissed . The second opinion is something similar to praying for a miracle and Allah responds to those prayers as well by changing the rules and relationships between the cause and effect like saving Prophet Yunus from the belly of the whale after he repented and cried to Allah or ordering the fire to be cool on the beloved prophet Abraham. It's good to follow the general rule but never dismiss the exception. Allah knows best ,

The video is not about Tawakul but your own efforts. Most people are lazy and don't want to do the work and they use 'tawakul' as excuse for their failure. That's not how it works however.

Just Do It is not so simple though. You have to be motivated to Just Do It. The more depressed you are the more lazy you are. When your environment is good you are more likely to get up and do things and the opposite is what will detract you. The other way is, strong will power motivation, which at the end of the day is what we only have. It is therefore important to adopt the motivation given by Allah's message. That comes with worshipping Allah and asking Him to continue to guide you, while you also persevere. Slowly with patience you can make improvements with the will of Allah SWT. Trust in Allah. Patience is a form of worship. For the sake of Allah we do everything and that's called living with intention.

Motivation is nothing. I am not motivated. I just do stuff. Even when I feel sad, tired, or whatever I still do what I have to do. Motivation comes and goes.

THERE ARE THE HOURS OF SLEEP AND THE HOURS OF SEEKING A LIVELIHOOD . THERE IS THE PERIOD OF EDUCATION AND THERE IS A DIFFERENT PERIOD OF LEARNING . LIKEWISE , THERE ARE THE MOMENTS OF DESIRE . THE DAY OF CONQUESTS ARE DIFFERENT FROM THE HOUR OF DEFEAT . THE FIELD OF ACTION KEEPS ITS OWN TERM , AND REWARD AND PUNISHMENT ARE TO COME IN DUE TIME . JOY IS NOT PERMANENT ; NOR IS SORROW ETERNAL . EVERY PIECE OF WORK , UNDERTAKENV AT ITS APPROPRIATE TIME , LOOKS BECOMING AND PROPER ; DONE OUT OF TIME , IT APPEARS ILL-- FAVOURED AND UGLY . THE PERIODS OF KNOWLEDGE AND ACTION ARE TO BE IDENTIFIED .
