This is a miracle food, as far as I'm concerned. I've had a persistent "cat scratch disease" bacterial infection on my hands for 2 years that would not go away (and no, I never went to the doctor for antibiotics). The areas infected would become so dry that my skin would become inflamed and crack open and bleed. The other day, I had a "wintermelon tea" from a local boba tea vendor (possibly made with an ash goard extract syrup?), and the next day, I noticed how good my hands looked. I had another wintermelon tea that day. The next day, my hands were 90% healed. I plan on consuming this vegetable every chance I can. And what Sadhguru said about it, is that it is possibly the highest prana food you can consume. In India, people traditionally hang it in front of their homes, above their front doorways, etc. The ancient masters knew much more than our modern society realizes.

Hello from Florida. I couldn't find them locally, so I grew them. I just harvested and juiced. It's great juice. While the ash gourd was growing, it had a light smell of bell pepper. Once cut, it has a cucumber and watermelon smell. To me, it tasted like an unsweetened watermelon with a hint of cucumber. Similar consistency to a watermelon. The juice was crisp and refreshing on its own. I would drink this regularly.

Hey John! I love wintermelons! I have been eating them for about 4 years now, I normally eat them with homemade chili pepper powder and lemon. I can't wait to juice it. Also a suggestion, take it or leave it, but you should try juicing and talking about whatever subject you are talking about to save time. Just a suggestion.

Use a good strong knife . Easier. To cut and cut into quarters and do not use seeds. The skin can be cut into pieces and dried . Then fry them and add salt and chili powder and eat like potato chips. John, you are doing it the hard way!😅😀
