I like this. It shows that the world is ready for another look. It's definitely not my favorite look but I like seeing more different things on peoples feet when I go out instead of half the people wearing AF1 and then nothing. I'm seeing more NB, Asics. But also more Puma, Adidas.. This gives more variation on the street and that is what I like most about this. It's sort of like people just discovered there are more models than the AF1 out there.

The “colorful” sneaker look kinda doesn’t work as well with Nike. For some reason, when applied to Nike, it just looks like a mess. New Balance on the other hand absolutely KILLS it with the crazy colorways! I think it’s because NB is usually known for their “boring” color aesthetic, although I’ve been a long time fan of NB, even with the boring colors. Just copped a pair of the Stray Rats 580s and they’re my fave sneaks as of late!

I can't bring myself to pull the trigger on some of those retro runners that are really popular right now, after being ass deep in many many jordans and SB dunks. I think of sneakers in terms of both fashion and investment (long term) and I know the fad for these retro runners will die at some point, and I don't wanna be stuck with a bunch of them.

Im on the fence for the Adidas Adistar Cushion. The white with blue one. I haven't ordered so far because I prefer the red one that is currently sold out. On the other hand, Im leaning towards the skating model trend. Puma 180, Adidas Adi2000, some new wider Vans models. I really really really want s big skating shoe trend coming back. Those will be the shoe I will find harder to scip. My only 2024 purchase so far is Puma 180. And maybe Reebok club c bulc. Reebok hss had delivery issues here si let's hope it ever reaches me.

Dont think too much about the hype. Im big on the SB market, copping multiple high demand SB’s, yet when i tried the retro runners, i fell in love. Yeah maybe the hype on retro runners would die down but theyre mad comfy and stylish at that too. I dont mind wearing vomeros, 1906s, 9060s, etc. even when they’ll lose hype. Damn comfy sneakers and they look great at that

Can’t help but cringe when I see people on the streets following a trend. One recent example is the adidas samba - I’m seeing them left, right and centre but I just can’t take it seriously. Too try hard, end up looking like everyone else and before they know it, the trend will die.
