There is nothing more authentic in an Aussie fishing video than the Aussie accent itself...😅😃

Great video John, I finally got a chance to use the new mussel lure yesterday, 3rd cast, 28 cm bream, next cast , busted off by a bigger bream, I was fishing wooden pylons and wharfs, will definitely be getting some more, so thanks for the mussel video, definitely helpful, great work John,

Nice one mate. I've been getting into the bream on the smaller squidgie prawn models around the bridges in the lake when im to lazy to put the boat in. They always go well.

Squidgie make some great plastics😀 But those who remember the 70mm flickbait in flash prawn colour will undeniably confirm they were the greatest soft plastic squidgies ever released. Why on earth they ever stopped making that model and colour is beyond me. Another great video John as always

Hey John, are you doing the Flatty Classic again this year mate. If so good luck... enjoyed the last one you did. Also have you seen the new Shimano World Range of lures with the reflective foil inside, I know it's not a new concept but sure to grab the attention of a few fish and anglers alike.
@mylurebox2 жыл бұрын
Yeah mate. I’m gonna be doing the classic this year so excited to get up there and have a crack. It often gets super windy which poses a few challenges with my little Tinnie but there’s so many spots to try, there’s always somewhere to hide out and find a bite fingers crossed.

Hi John, love to see a review on the eco gear zx40, unreal fish taker but the hooks that come with it are too small and you just lose fish, i put bigger Atomic assist hooks on them, beats the plastics most times and cast a mile,.

I’ve been meaning to give em more and more time mate. They’ve been coming out more and more with Tommy on board to help him get his distance casts eh.

Hi John - top video as always! I noticed in the vid you're using a Murasame 722M. I just got one of these myself, but I'm a little bit unsure about it so far. I think the action might be too fast for anything other than single-hook plastics, and the rod seems to be balanced quite poorly for reel sizes under 4000. Even though it's supposed to be one of the lightest rods out there, it feels quite heavy in the hand due to the front-heavy balance. Have you had yours long, and what do you think about it? I need to put more time into it - maybe it'll grown on me :)
@mylurebox2 жыл бұрын
Hey mate. I’ve been fishing mine for about 3months and mostly just sending plastics on the flats for flatties with it. I’m really happy with it myself. I’ve got a 3000 on it. The sensitivity is great for feeling bites. I have been looking at the higher end rods after hearing people rep em. I’ve never really ventured into that realm so maybe I’m not around what I’m missing at this point. Always keen to keep learning with trying more eh. It does feel funny going between rods at times I reckon.
@Binaryfarto2 жыл бұрын
@@mylurebox Maybe you're right - if I put a bit more time into the rod and get used to it, I'll grow to like it more. Catching a few fish with it would certainly help ;) Thanks for the reply & have a good one! 🙂
