SEGA I been waiting SO LONG for you to do a remaster of remake. I honestly think that SA1 and SA2 don’t really need to get remade because the games are honestly pretty good. The one game that is a little conversational to people for a remake is Sonic Heroes and I’m happy because Heroes is my favorite Sonic game. The two games that I don’t really care about need a remake is Sonic unleashed and Sonic 06. Now I’m very EXCITED for a Heroes remake.

SA1 and SA2 still play great for the most part but are a little janky at times and can use a remake. Plus, cutscenes of SA2 with the dialogue getting cut off and music playing too loud could use some fixing up.

It's up to them on what they remake. The sky's the limit but we should temperate expectations. On the other hand, I think Sonic 06 deserves a second shot cuz it was just handled poorly and it's a different time compared to back then. If it's redone, it could turn out better this time around. And a remake of Heroes be interesting. It had some great stages and remixes of those songs would be very cool. I'd be down for it

You are right about Sonic Heroes proudly carrying the spirit of the series. Seeing that spirit preserved and getting some of the polish stuff addressed would make for an absolute slam dunk. Also the level design is really good balancing all the routes and team paths.

Even though I wish there was a remake of a Sonic game, I wish more there was a new game titled Silver the Hedgehog. Specifically I do wish Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) was remade and introduced a new Sonic character, but also more importantly I wish the great old times of seeing Sonic, his friends, and others in 3D action, cutscenes and stuff continued. A Silver the Hedgehog game I would have liked it very much if it could be created and have a new character being a brave strong loyal kindhearted mink named Xielon.

To be fair, if they completely rebranded 06, and remade it, maybe they could bundle it with another game. But I doubt they would be able to release that kind of thing, and expect the general audience to get behind it on its own. Even if they hired the people behind project 06, the general audience would just remember it as “the time sonic kissed a human” even if they remove that clip and reanimated it, so there isn’t a kiss

It is asking for way too much, but I'd pitch it anyway. Instead of Sonic Heroes being a remaster, or remake, would be cool if they pull from and expand from the Sonic Heroes like plot Neo Metal Sonic had in the IDW comics, then they can include the base 4 teams, as well as Team Diamond Cutter (throw in Lanolin early, or even Jewel since she would be a better Fly character than Whisper) Could even throw in the Babylon Rogues as well, and perhaps even Silver and Blaze, with one other person on there team. The only downside of this would be playing through the full game as potentially 5-7 teams, and after remembering Shadow the Hedgehog years ago, that seems pretty daunting, but would be a cool way of introducing the comic characters, or characters that have not been playable in a mainline Sonic game in a very long time.

This year after hearing from a different video that Takashi Isuka was forced to complete it by himself and almost died because of the stress, I ordered a used copy of the GameCube version of Sonic Heroes to cause some respect to what happened back then, because I've never played it before, and I still have that console and it works so I can play that game. I agree that it makes sense to have that one be the next Sonic game that will either be remade or remastered, and that they are currently too scared to remake the Adventure games soon and have to get enough trust from the fans before they would attempt to remake those 2 games. Mostly because so many fans have been begging for years for proper remakes of those 2 games to be made, how beloved they are to many fans(including me), and the amount of expectations that those people have for remakes of them. It's easy to believe that a worldwide angry mob of fans would be coming onto social media with a LOT of criticizm if Sega doesn't have the remakes of the Adventure games be well polished, improve the camera movement quality, fix up some other problems that the old versions of those games have, and add in some new stuff to make the replay value be stronger before releasing them. An other reason that makes sense of why Sega likely won't remaster Sonic 06 is because they already know that Chaos X has been working on producing a fanmade Windows PC remaster of that game, calling it Project 06 (P-06 for short) and that that version of 06 has truly been getting positive reviews.

In my opinion 06 deserves a second chance 06’s story is almost there with unleashed, SA1, SA2 and Frontiers and if its made in Unreal Engine 5 then I want 06 to get a second chance, in my opinion one of the smartest moves that Sega can do is throw as much money at ChaosX to buy the marketing rights of P-06 finish it up and launch it to PS5, Xbox and Switch.

However be that as it may with Sonic The Hedgehog 2006 being released to negative reception i still think that game should get remade for better polish and a more fleshed out experience you know? The reason SEGA isn't remaking Sonic Adventure *FIRST* is because they know many people love it, With Sonic Heroes they can use it as an "Experiment" waiting for the feedback what must be the do's and don'ts for the Sonic Adventure Remake. So SEGA will remake and experiment with different sonic first before Sonic Adventure duology

I've been waiting for a Sonic Heroes remaster ever since I saw the gameplay of the original one. It definitely deserves a remaster as it's one of the best Sonic games ever. Now Unleashed could be simply ported over to modern consoles, it doesn't need a remaster. As for 06 I think it only needs an update in the graphics and many bug fixes. The adventure game really deserve a remaster!! I'm VERY excited for this one!!

Edit- I love heroes but i will say its a lessor of all the other games. It lived up to what it needed to. I think the steam ports are a big reason why the adventure games are not likely to be remade anytime soon. Based on the “split opinion” statement from Zippo I also agree that Heroes is most likely to be remade.
