I actually felt my heart get broken when i saw that the portal has no eyes. As a speedrunner myself, i can feel the pain of losing a good run for a dumb reason. That really is frustrating and sad at the same time.

What a run. Heartbreaking way to lose it, but was EXTREMELY well played. Yes, good seed but a good seed is only as good as the runner is. I'm glad this was covered, because this run deserves the praise. GGWP, but with the way MC speedrunning is, you just gotta hop back in the saddle.

This is really sad and unlucky but he was at 9 mins, if he built a portal in portal room it would link with the blind travel portal, then he could get another rod and go through to portal at like sub 10:30. He probably would end up the first blind portal in overworld but he could just dig up 10 blocks and go to the hole he dig down before again, and be at the portal room at sub 11:30.

honestly at this point if you’re resetting for wr and nothing else, i think you have to reset for divine travel, as ridiculous as that sounds.

That one long pause was because of inactive chat Other pauses aren't so annoying and they're shorter than 5 seconds, so they don't count following new rules

I think the pause I find most annoying is after he hits the stronghold blind. It's a good 30 seconds of him collecting himself which I feel goes against the spirit of speedrunning

i doubt this will happen. top fsg runners can barely get sub 6 with thousands of attempts. given that nobody had ever rolled an fsg seed in rsg seed i dont see anyone getting close to those times. the game has also been fairly optimized imo so seeing runners constantly cranking sub 10s seems unlikely. obviously as time goes on more sub 10s will happen but i believe they’ll still be rare. i doubt wr ever gets sub 7 maybe not even sub 8

That was so unlucky. The chances of throwing 2 eyes and having both don't break is a 60% chance and the chance of getting at least 1 eye is a 71.8% chance so there is a small chance of none of those happening.
