What kind of fishing do you plan on doing inshore , offshore off the beach ?

Probably a little of both. But mainly offshore similar to what you are doing but not as far out

A 4-5k reel would be perfect almost anything. On a 7ft medium or medium heavy rod. Not sure what your budget is but you can find one fairly cheap

Good work man. Y'all watch out for those two rouge bullsharks on that shore line. 3 people have been attacked an one jet ski an a duck got chased in shallow. Those people lost limbs an they survived. Carry a 44 mag shoulder pistol an if it bothers y'all give them a lead snack. Be safe out there .
