yeah the slow of time in bake ult makes most roots last longer. especially na zah sash. bake ult makes na zah sash last so long

The root bugged out with the ult no doubt, timer was gone but the effect around where your feet would be was still there and you couldn't move and I know damn well you ain't letting go of your W key on that God

The root lasted longer because it's the same interaction as oloruns ult. The CC duration is based on the character CCing, not Olorun or Bake's perception of time.

Hmmm, afaik when olorun gets cc'd on his ult it just goes away quickly bc he experiences time faster than usual. This is the case for every CC except the ones tied to enemy animations (like ne zha's 3 or nox's 1). Unless they changed how that worked in the last 3 years, it shouldn't affect neith's 1 the way it did

Sam if you didn’t know, Janus 3 does bonus damage when the slow is applied to enemies. So if you 1, 3 combo(placing the 3 under the portal after an enemy has gone through it) you’ll still do that bonus damage because they hit the slow before the floor. Same with a 2, 3 combo. If you 2 and quickly 3 an enemy not only do you get the slow, but the bonus damage as well. Janus combos go crazy. That’s how you nuked him at the end. 1, 3, 2 combo COOKED that man.

I wonder for the root if she hit you with the base ability which would apply the 1st root but then because the arrow was traveling behind you slow enough if it hit the weave on the ground for a 2nd root because you don't see the weave after that interaction.

I disagree with the comments here, I think Neith's root lasted longer because of the ult, and I think it is intentional (Or at least, a bug that they won't fix). This happens with Olorun as well, I remember getting stunned by a kali while in an olo ult, and that stun would last waaaay longer. It makes sense too, because Time Dilation shenanigans

Its weird bake doesnt proc other attack speed on hit item effects but does proc Toxic Blade.

Bake ult acts like Osiris ult. All enemy actions are slowed, including their CC against you. The time for it to wear off is slowed down.

With Smite 2 on the horizon, we're probably not gonna see big shifts to gods in Smite 1. But man, even though Bake is strong, I wish they'd do something to just make him feel better.
