When I was a kid I used to play this game called Runescape, I played it all the time. They had clans and they had this thing called the Grand Exchange where you can buy and sell anything in the game. These clans would get together and the organizers would pick an item for the month or so for every member to buy so the price rises and then when the month is over sell it and everyone makes major profit. However the clan leaders would almost always sell much earlier than usual when they estimated nobody else would be buying it anymore and without telling anyone, dropping the price significantly lower, causing people to lose so much money so that they could make bank scamming their clan members. Anyways, I guess what I'm trying to say is I learnt this lesson in a game as a kid15 years ago so I would never be in this situation in real life.

We are so...pococurante about these types of misfortunes, I wonder if he'll get what needs to come for him, if not, I feel genuinely sad about those people who lost their savings, especially now in 2022 where poverty hits in places where the word was only on paper. The appeal of crypto is that it's decentralized and unregulated... so far. And that "so far" is the problem. the more people behave like this with it, the more and more likely politicians and lawmakers will get involved. And nobody's going to be happy with the results of that. Already in the US crypto transactions are taxed as capital assets. And there's talk on the daily about further regulation. As is ever the story, we can't have nice things because a few bad apples get selfish and ruin the whole bushel.
