Fyi, you can almost double the lifespan of your battery by charging it to about 80% most of the time instead of 100% 💯

True. But I’ve also heard batteries have limiters in them that help with the lifespan too. But your username suggests that you know what you’re talking about, so I am glad you gave some input.

I have two 8Ah Battery Satiators which each cost more than double but they're programmable for charge rate and voltage so you can have them stop at 80 or 85 % if you want. I usually charge at 4Ah as that's a happy compromise... 🤗

The more I looking tase E-Biks the more I realize these are very expensive projects and ALL need various upgrades, battery, chargers, tires, APPs, Lights etc. It's about the same to get a good dual sport used for $3,500 and mod IT and be unlimited and travel where ever I want to. E-bikes are like a dog wash limited 20-40 miles at BEST and only after $4,000+ upgrades.

Faster the charge the better! Love it. But not for the faint hearted because faster charging will knock longevity off your battery... Do it only if this is no biggie to you, Some may what to squeeze as much life as they can cause ebike batteries cost a small fortune.

Yeah, IDK if it’s worth $175 for that because if I bring my bike down to 20% it charges already to 80% already in the same time. If you want to buy a new battery quicker then by all means use this product. Just know doing this will increase the battery degrading.

I only plan on using it when needed. My video and the website both state not to use it as your primary charger. From 80%-20% would be a quick ride.

Love your videos bro. Some questions - does it void the battery warranty if I use this fast charger? Also, Ive heard it's not good to use this fast charger all the time? And lastly, If I use this for rides to top off my battery, like if Im at 50-60% grab a bite to eat and charge it for a half hour, does that harm anything? Sorry for the noob questions. TIA

That’s fine. I had some similar questions. I am not 100% sure if it voids it, but it’s worth reading the terms and conditions. I know adding the Ranger will. You’d definitely don’t want to use this as your primary charger, but the use case you gave is perfect for it. I use it to top off, but if I know I don’t need the bike, I will always do a stock charger.

Welcome! I don’t take it off to charge most days. Just when I use the fast charger. You can’t see the percentage without it being connected to the bike.

Yeah, you can. But one thing I like to do, after charging has stopped, is plug the charger into the Ranger just to top it off. You'll notice that it will allow for more charge, so I do it just to be safe. Not sure if it matters or not, but it gives me peace of mind.

Was interested in buying one till I read this on their disclaimer "Using ANY fast charger on any battery WILL degrade your battery quicker. To prolong the usable life of your battery, you should try to avoid using this charger as your main charger. This charger is best used when you are on the go and you should use your stock charger when charge time is not important"
