You don't have to unplug the brake sensor. You can turn that feature off! Cycle the ignition and turn it on, Pump the brake lever 8 full times quickly and then on the 9th pull hold it for 5-10 seconds and let go. Now it will no longer cut the motor when you touch the brakes. You can turn it back on by doing the same but add one extra pull so 9 short and the 10th long. I just did it with both of mine and it worked perfectly.

Remove the 2 bolts in the ignition and wiggle it out (the ignition) follow the brake sensor wires & unplug them and just pop ignition back in & they will be off

If you want more power you should definitely get the Litespeed 72v Battery and BAC 4000 or BAC 8000 controller. It goes to like 80 mph, has 5x the power, and incredible range. Riser handlebars are one of the biggest differences that you can make without doing anything to the electronics. Upgrading the suspension is pretty easy too since it uses mountainbike suspension, Fox is always a good choice. Changing brake pads makes a big difference already but you can also upgrade to an entire Magura brake system. Those are all the big upgrades I can think of right now.

High end fork(fox 40, Marzocchi bomber 58, dvo,etc.) 3” rise pro taper 810 bars, bigger sprocket, warp9 or prickly rear triangle, new pegs, brake pads and direct mount stem and your pretty much set, tires are good to. They are ton of fun, depending on how tall u are peg extenders, seat raiser, float seat are nice to. To take it off there is a video on Luna KZbin to show you how to take the brake cutoff off. Very easy. Definitely cut that wire to lol

Setup using the programming cable supplied with your Sur-Ron. To turn the ebrake cut sensor off, 8 short pulls on the brake lever one long and should be 8 blinks.

Grab some mt7s, remove the ebrake and tilt sensors, and replace the tires. You can put shimano ho3c brake pads in for a cheaper brake upgrade that is well worth the money.

Check out eMoto Bros and Race Spec Sur Ron. Those channels have guys that come from motocross and e dirt backgrounds. And they’re destroying trails on the Sur Ron. Range isn’t quite there and tire size is limited. No crazy top end power like a dirt bike. But they’re damn impressive for what it is. Good stuff!

Someone give me the necessary upgrade for the sur Ron ( stuff like battery motor, controller and all that ) specific name so i can watch a video on how to install it. All I want is a great range on the bike when I go 35-40 mph per hour the mileages should be good. I am asking sense I see videos and it included so much more stuff that I get overwhelmed. Also i have the 2023 sur Ron x mini so would the stock battery work? It’s a 38.25 ah if I remember, I forgot the voltage tho.

It's worth it. 4k is a nice penny for me and i dropped 5k getting moto wheel kit and pedal kit and a few other small things. With the pedal kit and e.p mode its a class 3 ebike so you can slow ride to trails than drop it into sport mode and your doing 50mph (stock) the only real downside is the range.. 30-40miles sucks.. and upgrading that is not cheap!! For another 25miles and *piggyback* pack straps right on top of the bike is like $700
